In this day & age it just seems to me that everything is being geared to make us feel miserable as humans within and hold bad thoughts against all others as a way of being to survive etc. via tv, media, some of the screwed up medical & psychological "buffs" (personal bwahahaha!) and social media (Note that I am not referring to hive as with my short period here I have found it to be real, fun and full of people wanting to uplift others on their way up & to joint happiness.....my kinda world.)....screw that false indoctrinated negativity I say, & seize the moment in the life you live.......whether rich or poor (in false materialistic value) and no matter whether you live in a dense concrete jungle or in a naturally beautiful area.....keep your eyes open to see the beauty that constantly presents itself in front of us no matter where we are......a leaf fluttering down into the wet gutter in smokey downtown New York City to the spray coming off a wave at a beach in Bali......we just have to unblock the crap fed and open our eyes to the beauty that surrounds us in place, some humans and all animals (Yip, you guessed it...... I far prefer/ love the animals that I have had in my life compared to many humans I have met in my life.)
The above photo is my entry into the Reflection hunters contest 77.
I don't regard myself a photographer at all but I enjoy pottering with my camera or dying cell phone camera with my "eyes open" and trying to capture the moment as I see it in my way.
An amazing person of hive that I have befriended, @dreemsteem, gave it a classic word that I love.....she called me a pottographer (someone pottering with a camera.)
The two above photos were taken by myself in the Kruger National Park, South Africa and along with their reflections they show/ teach me what I was talking about above.
In the first photo a pair of Terrapin are basking on a rock and totally enjoying & appreciating the warm sun that is shining on them. In the second photo a young elephant is sitting in an unusual position at the edge of a dam that he has walked to for miles to and simply enjoying all the pleasures it gives.
We as humans can learn so much from animals on all levels......always keep the fire within burning :)

Limited wifi can be a curse but I feel it is a blessing at times enabling/ forcing us to appreciate outdoors more again.

I think the vast majority of us are pottographers, I know I am, but I do live in the moment, in the now.
I remove negativity from my life and have learned not to give a fnck!
