Hello, dear friends!

This will be my submission for the Show Me A Shadow - Round 260! It's been a while since I have posted in this awesome community... let alone "in general". But I took a photo last night that I simply had to share, and I thought... what better thing to do, than share it with you all!

Before we get started. Let me go over those guidelines!

We all know how tough things are lately. So every penny counts! We have one of those can smashers attached to our garage, and we smash our aluminum cans when we are done, and throw them in a big 55-gallon can outside. As I went outside to smash my can, I looked down at our solar lamp we have and went back inside when I saw the awesome shadow I saw! Let me show you why I was so excited!

I won't lie... the first thing I thought was "Hey Enginewitty! I made The Alliance graphic!". All kidding aside... I really like how this turned out. If you could see this in the daytime. You would see our Crocuses there in that flower bed. But as I balanced myself to take this photo (I had to take about 5 photos to get a good one) I thought... what would this look like from the top? Are you curious too? Well, here you go!

These solar lights were on sale at Walmart last summer, so we got several to help light our yard up. I am glad we did... I was able to get these cool photos, and then share them with all of you!

Thank you for the kind words, my friend! As for the electric bill... lord knows it is outrageous. The only bad thing about these lamps is that they aren't made very well. We have tried various ways to protect them; we have silicone around the solar panel... tried to attach some clear plastic over the solar panel. Well, you get the main idea. In the end, the rain gets into the solar panel part and rusts out the rechargeable batteries. So the average life span of them is about 2 years. Oh well... they sure look cool!

If you look close there... to the ~~left~~ right. You can see one of our hyacinths starting to bloom! Oh, how I love these flowers! #alwaysaflower you know!

Hey, brother! Turned out pretty cool right? There is actually another solar light just above on the top of the garage... sometimes it will work, and sometimes not. It usually photobombs nighttime photos; it comes on right as you are just about to get that "perfect shot" lol. I guess I should have mentioned, I used the Night Mode on my S9 to get this photograph. I keep waiting to see if enginewitty will see that bottom photo; you see the hands with peace fingers alliance image? Lol... after I started looking in my phone's gallery for those photos last night. I saw that and was like... That's just too cool for school!

Hahhaha yeah I think it should be the replacement photo!

I think what happened was I was looking at the first one, and was saying to myself "How is the solar light casting all those shadows of itself, are there multiple lights around it?" Then I noticed the design around the light itself haha I have a few solar lights and wouldn't mind trying to make a casing like that around one.
