Shadows on the Sidewalk

Shadows accompany us at all times, like a silent friend watching over every step we take on our journey. They have become such a common part of our existence that we often overlook them, but when we look closely, we discover a parallel universe of shapes and nuances. Where nature plays a fundamental role, but where human creations often set the tone in a truly unique combination of elements, resulting in figures that oscillate between the abstract and the dimensional.

Sombras en la Acera

La sombra nos acompañan en todo momento, como una amiga silenciosa que vigila cada paso dado de nuestro recorrido, ellos se han vuelto una parte tan cotidiana de nuestra existencia que en la mayoría de los casos suelen pasar por alto, pero realmente cuando afinamos nuestra mirada descubrimos que universo paralelo de formas y matices. En donde la naturaleza juega un papel fundamental, pero en donde las creaciones humanas en muchas ocasiones marcan la pauta en una conjunción de elementos que es realmente única, cuyo resultado son figuras que se debaten entre los tratos y lo dimensional.

Straight lines, curved strokes, and indeterminate lines form the patterns of shadowy figures that dance to the rhythm of the works, move with the passing of the wind, and leave a powerful image marked on the ground, which becomes part of the urban furniture, follows us without our noticing, and in many cases provides that much-needed shelter that protects us from the intensity of the sun's rays. And it is on days like today, when the clouds are absent and the light shines with all its power, that the shadow becomes more present, with greater definition and deeper darkness.

Líneas rectas, trazos curvos y rayas indeterminadas conforman los patrones de unas figuras sombrías que danzan al ritmo de las obras, se mueven con el paso del viento y dejan marcados sobre el piso una imagen poderosa, la cual se vuelve parte del mobiliario urbano, nos persigue sin darnos cuenta y muchos casos suministran ese cobijo tan necesario que nos protege de la intensidad de los rayos solares. Y es como hoy en donde las nubes estaban ausentes y la luz brillaba con todo su poder, es cuando la sombra se hace presentes con mayor fuerza, gran definición y profunda oscuridad.
