El arte de hacer reír a las personas, enseñar valores, es el centro del titiritero. Además de hacer reír hay un mensaje. Comenzando por el que los espectadores valoren esa disposición sentimental de amor que expresan ellos para los demás.

No es fácil estar sentado o parado detrás de una cortina y tener la seguridad de que el mensaje que ellos quieren dar llegue a las personas.

El profesor Fernando Enrique Olivo Rivas es docente integral, con una especialidad en Ciencias Sociales. Actualmente se desempeña como Coordinador de Cultura en dos instituciones educativas en San Juan de Los Morros y desde 1980 está inmerso en el Teatro, poesía, ensayos, cuenta-cuentos, dramaturgia, en fín, todas las artes literarias. Tiene está virtud adquirida en más de cuarenta años de actuación.

Fernando logra introducirse en los personajes que presenta. Sus títeres son: Sirindingo, que es un hombre tímido, asustadizo, pero no cobarde y Pisingollo, un hombre sabio, inteligente y valiente, muy acertado en sus consejos.

Otros títeres, muy queridos también, son: Peliamarillo, Titiaro, Tarsis "El Malvado", Sonia, entre otros.

Pocos son los titiriteros que hay aquí en Villa de Cura.

Fernando, por allá en los años 1980 y 1990, fundó grupos como "Primero de Mayo", "Tarantín"; "Entre Comillas", "Luz Sombras", todos formados por estudiantes de escuelas, liceos, universidades y comunidad. Bajo la influencia de ese gran titiritero universal que fue Javier Villafañe.
