Mi situación era tan precaria, que no veía otra opción para poder ayudar a mi familia. Me armé de valor y fui hacia la misteriosa propiedad. Al adentrarme en la maleza y toparme con estatuas humanas de espantosos rostros, se me heló la sangre. Avancé y crucé la pesada puerta.
Al otro lado me esperaba un hombrecito frente a una olla llena de monedas de oro. ¡Toma algunas y vete! conozco tu dura situación, sentenció el enano con una voz macabra.
Huí del lugar con los bolsillos llenos, pero no logré ir más allá de los pastizales. Mi cuerpo se había petrificado y ahora era un adorno más de la casa del gnomo.
