¡Qué cosa! ¡Los chicharrones!
Por más que intenten decir
algo de los chicharrones
siempre se debe admitir
que en verdad son sabrosones.
Su sabor extraordinario
a la hora de masticar
lo vuelve un "mal necesario"
al que no se puede obviar.
Aunque ha roto muchos dientes
a lo largo de su historia,
deliciosos y crujientes
causan emoción y euforia.
Un amigo cierto día
me invita para comerlos
con una arepa muy fría,
y tienta a añicos hacerlos.
Mi prima se hace la sorda
y llega a romper la dieta
porque dicen que está gorda
y la correa le aprieta.
La misma gorda asegura
ser débil en ese rol,
y un plato lleno ella apura
con mucho colesterol.
Con carne le gustan mucho
a la vecina de enfrente
aunque a veces yo la escucho
que fuertes mareos siente.
Una amiguita vecina
se pone desesperada
cuando aparece Cristina
con una chicharronada.
Papá fue chicharronero
allá de los años setenta,
y llegó a ser el primero
en las listas de la cuenta.
Para hacer un chicharrón
es preciso, buen hermano,
tener para la ocasión
buen punto y muy buena mano.
La gente, quédese quieta,
pues para satisfacciones
tengo una bolsa repleta
de recientes chicharrones.
Los chicharrones, ¡qué cosa!
enloquecen a cualquiera,
y es receta fabulosa
que al ánimo reverbera.
What a thing, the cracklings!
As much as they try to say
something about the greaves
one must always admit
that they are really tasty.
Their extraordinary taste
when it comes to chewing
makes it a "necessary evil
that cannot be ignored.
Although it has broken many teeth
throughout its history,
delicious and crunchy
cause excitement and euphoria.
A friend one day
