Un día decidí ser comunicador social y me gradué eligiendo la mención audiovisual, pero la vida siempre se empecinó en que trabajara en el área de periodismo institucional, desde donde viví situaciones complejas, sobre todo cuando ese periodismo le pertenecía a una ideología política.
Los dos bandos en disputa se parecen más de lo que ellos creen y uno no es del todo libre. Hay intereses, precauciones, un más allá de las noticias que muchas veces no entiendes y allí estás tú, tipeando lo que puedes y lo que debes narrar para que el mundo sea un lugar más equilibrado.
Hoy honro a mi profesión y a la de los que también decidieron abogar a esa justicia social implícita en el periodismo. El 27 de junio se celebra el Día del Periodista en mi país, Venezuela y en lo particular, yo no hago fiestas, ni me doy un agasajo, pero siempre, todos los años, me pongo como reto escribir algo sobre el oficio que ejercí y del que aprendí, sobre todo, a ser un mejor hombre.

Espero hayas tenido un feliz días, celebrando tu profesión, muy buen escrito lleno de tantas reflexiones somo como "una cosa" puede tener diferentes lecturas dependiendo del ojo de quien mira. La subjetividad puede estar presente, la razón también es invitada, la verdad toca descubrirla.
