Hello hivers, my name is Yohan Onyeli, a Ugandan, possessing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing. I joined steemit in early 2018 where I fall in love with Cryptocurrency and Blockchain related projects.
This blog is in response to the task by @blocktrades which is calling hivers to present their CVs in the Hive skills community.
Work experience
Being a hard-working and passionate young man, I explored various opportunities on the platform. For example, I applied and was successfully granted a steem-ambassador position within the great promo-steem project that was spearheaded by @starkerz and @anarcotech. I was in charge of the various promotional campaigns of steem in Uganda. I and the Ugandan team went to different universities with fliers spreading the word about the new decentralized social media ecosystem. Onboarded many users and guided them on how to get started.
Later on joined the @Oracle-d company as a professional content creator (the company was later rebranded Yoodoo). In this company, I actively participated in creating various SEO content for over 40 Crypto and Block-chain companies. The content-type included blogs, explainer videos, and graphics designing. I also engaged in various social media marketing campaigns including promoting the various blockchain company’s products, services, and events on twitter, medium, linkedIn, Facebook.
What can I do for Hive?
I can Create SEO blogs about hive, design graphic kits, create explainer videos of the complex information about the hive ecosystem. I can also help spread the word about hive on Twitter, Instagram, facebook, and medium. I can also engage with the hive community through leaving valuable comments on their blogs.
Other skills?
I am also passionate about humanitarian work. I have done lots of charitable work on the chain including paying school fees for some needy kids in the remote areas of my nation. Donated shoes, school materials, engaged young people in sports activities like soccer, tennis as a channel of making a difference in their lives.
When offline I spend my leisure time playing tennis as I relax my mind and keep myself fit and healthy. I also spend time making research about business, Crypto, and Blockchain projects. I am also a life coach spending some of my time counseling fellow young people on life matters.
