Perhaps one of the most compelling ways of reading is that daring way of tempting the forbidden, the book that I will be reviewing today is by the author “Héctor Torres” and perhaps one of his best known titles “La Huella del Bisonte”. In this book, Héctor walks us through the daring smile of enjoying the forbidden, which shows a novel that raises the fine line of the erotic, but it is about a young minor and the father of her best friend. With a somewhat sagacious and constant touch, we are in what is, could or could be a very real story, which can, could or is happening at this moment due to the theme and its prohibited or taboo touch. The Bison's Footprint is a book that deals with a situation that in the eyes of society of the correct thing, is a total aberration, but from a morbid point of view it has a connotation very attached to what the incorrect desire of any adult could be turning on your head.

Una de las formas más atrapantes de la lectura tal vez sea esa forma atrevida de tentar lo prohibido, el libro que hoy estaré realizándole un review es del autor “Héctor Torres” y quizás uno de sus títulos más conocidos “La Huella del Bisonte”. Héctor nos pasea en este libro por la sonrisa atrevida de disfrutar de lo prohibido, con lo que se muestra una novela que rosa la delgada línea de lo erótico, pero se trata de una joven menor de edad y el padre de su mejor amiga. Con un toque algo sagaz y constante estamos en lo que es, pudiera o pudo ser una historia muy real, que pueda, pudo o está pasando en este momento por la temática y por su toque prohibido o de tabú. La huella del bisonte es un libro, que trata una situación que para los ojos de la sociedad de lo correcto, es una total aberración, pero desde un punto de vista morboso tiene una connotación muy apegada a lo que el deseo incorrecto de cualquier adulto pudiera estar dando vuelta en su cabeza.

The bison footprint is about a young woman named Carla who at an early age was able to feel the heat of the forbidden, thanks to the friction of her bicycle with her intimate part and as in many cases these stories occur in young people perhaps disoriented by the situations or lack of affection and attention. It really is a book that captivates not only because of the theme but also because of the vibrant subtlety with which the author tells us the story.
La huella del bisonte, trata de una joven llamada carla que a una temprana edad pudo sentir el calor de lo prohibido, gracias al roce de su bicicleta con su parte íntima y como en muchos casos estas historias se dan en jóvenes tal vez desorientados por las situaciones o faltos de cariño y atención. Esta joven frecuenta el apartamento de su mejor amiga en donde se encuentra quien sería a vista de muchos su presa adulta, con quien juguetearia para conseguir saciar sus deseos de morbo por tener en su red a un hombre adulto y tal vez sus deseos sexuales. Del otro lado se encuentra un padre solitario que recibe la visita de su hija en ocasiones y en otras acompañada de su amiga, en este caso bajo su mirada la brisa fresca que le incrementa su virilidad. En toda la trama se manifiestan varias situaciones que van desde el jugueteo tonto de un adolescente hasta la fuerte expresión de dominio de un macho dominante. A fin y al cabo como es seguro, la cuerda revienta siempre por lo más delgado y las cosas se salen de quicio; en este libro tomare como es de costumbre tres cosas muy importantes: 1. ¿Cuál es el punto central del libro? 2. Ritmo de la historia. 3. ¿Que buscaba aquella joven al seducir al padre de su amiga? Realmente es un libro que atrapa no solo por la temática sino por la sutileza vibrante con que el autor nos va relatando la historia.
1. What is the central point of the book?
The central thing from my point of view, are the different ways in which people seek to direct our affections trying to reduce the effects of loneliness and in the case of adolescents, most likely to seek to attract that attention they need and satisfy those desires to be the center of attention. The behavior of a young woman who brings out her family or personal problems, hiding them in a forbidden romp with an adult, perhaps to mitigate her frustrations is common in many, as well as the need for the company of an adult man, divorced and already with few ideas .
Lo central desde mi punto de vista, son las diferentes formas en como las personas buscamos dirigir nuestros afectos tratando de disminuir los efectos de la soledad y en el caso de los adolescentes, muy probablemente buscar llamar esa atención que necesitan y saciar esos deseos de ser el centro de la atención. El comportamiento de una joven que aflora sus problemas familiares o personales, escondiéndolos en un jugueteo prohibido con un adulto, tal vez para mitigar sus frustraciones es común en muchos, así como esa necesidad de compañía de un hombre adulto, divorciado y ya con pocas ideas.
2. The rhythm of the story
As far as rhythm is concerned, reading keeps you in constant expectation of everything that happens with these protagonists to the point that it almost makes the rest of the very few characters who are present at certain moments invisible. The imagination of an adult man imprisoned by that young woman, is displayed in a very powerful way, using minimal details that give those of us who have read this book the exact idea of the protagonist.
En lo que a ritmo se refiere, la lectura te mantiene en una constante expectativa de todo lo que va ocurriendo con estos protagonistas al punto que casi hace invisible al resto de los muy pocos personajes que hacen presencia en ciertos momentos. La imaginación de un hombre adulto presa de aquella joven, se hace gala de una forma muy poderosa, sirviéndose de detalles mínimos que nos dan a quienes hemos leído este libro, la idea exacta del protagonista.
3. What was that young woman looking for when she seduced her friend's father?.
I think that one of the compelling reasons within the reasons that led Karla to seduce with childish games full of morbid and prohibition, for a politically correct society, is to satisfy her desires as a woman and that need for control in the face of full reality , of a man much older than hers, was at her mercy and prey to her whims.
Creo que una de las razones de peso dentro de las razones que llevaron a karla a seducir con juegos infantiles llenos de morbo y prohibición, para una sociedad de lo políticamente correcto, es satisfacer sus deseos como mujer y esa necesidad de control ante la realidad plena, de un hombre de una edad mucho mayor que la de ella, estuviera a su merced y presa de sus antojos.

"Héctor Torres" is a Venezuelan writer and literary promoter, born in Caracas in 1968. He received the prize for the critic of the novel of the year, a prize awarded in Venezuela. Currently a collaborator of several Venezuelan publishers and digital media. He has obtained several awards such as: The Sacven Short Story Contest (2001, 2003), and in the first edition of the Metropolitan Polyclinic Short Story Award for Young Authors.

Solo leí le primera parte de tu post, para no enterarme mas de la trama. El argumento de la historia capto mi atención, quiero leer esta lolita criolla. Lo buscare en digital, porque en físico debe estar costoso. Por cierto, donde colocas al autor, dice Gabriel García Marqués

Espero conseguir ese libro en las calles, porque estoy seguro que no lo conseguire en pdf. Me atrapa la historia, se ve que tiene muchas implicaciones en juego.
