Esta es una de mis frases favoritas del libro ¨Almond ¨ de Won-Pyung Sohn, publicado en 2017. Trata de Yunjae, un niño que nació sin la capacidad de sentir, reconocer o expresar emociones. En esta ocasión me gustaría poder hablarles cobre algunas de las frases que nos podemos encontrar en este libro.

¿Jamás has tenido la sensación de que no estas en el grupo correcto? o ¿de que estás con la persona equivocada? Parte de la vivir la vida es conocer personas, posiblemente al principio nos consigamos con personas que nos hagan sentir fuera de lugar pero con el tiempo seremos capaces de conseguir un grupo o una persona con la que nos sentiremos cómodas y esas reacciones Anormales se vuelvan normales.
- Esta historia habla de un monstruo que se encuentra con otro monstruo. Uno de esos monstruos soy yo.
Personalmente opino que este es un libro que da mucho de qué hablar, especialmente porque tiene muchas frases que te dejan pensando y puedes ser usadas dentro y fuera del contexto del libro. Hay veces en las que vemos mil y un obstáculos cuando queremos hacer algo y todos esos ¨Peros¨ nos nos dejan avanzar, en la mayoría de las ocasiones todo eso esta sólo en nuestra mente y somos nosotros mismos quienes no nos permitimos avanzar convirtiéndonos en el villano o en el ¨monstro¨ de nuestra propia historia.

Have you ever had the feeling that you are not in the right group or that you are with the wrong person? Part of living life is meeting people, possibly at first we will get with people who make us feel out of place but eventually we will be able to get a group or a person with whom we will feel comfortable and those abnormal reactions will become normal.
- This story is about a monster who meets another monster. One of those monsters is me.
Personally I think this is a book that gives a lot to talk about, especially because it has many sentences that leave you thinking and can be used in and out of the context of the book. There are times when we see a thousand and one obstacles when we want to do something and all those "Buts" let us move forward, most of the time all that is only in our mind and we ourselves are the ones who do not allow us to move forward becoming the villain or the "monster" of our own story.
