First of all, I want to appreciate the Hive Book Club and its admins for this brilliant initiative and for also the interesting selected topic for this contest. It was actually nice to reflect back on all the books I have read to be able to pick my favorite fictional, but I must confess, it was a struggle for me to actually pick one. I don't intend to select multiple favorite fictional characters because I want to make my post simple, easy to understand, and straight forward. So let's get to it.
My favorite fictional character is Archangel Raphael from the book series titled 'Guild Hunter', written by Nalini Singh which the first book in this series was published in 2009 titled 'Angel's Blood'. Guild Hunter is a fantasy series that has lots of genres incorporated in it. Like, supernatural, paranormal, romance, and mystery. All these genres make this series worth checking out and you won't be disappointed.
Guild Hunter is a series that is built around a world that is ruled by Angels which involves reading about Archangels, Angels, Vampires, the guild hunters, Magic, steamy scenes, sex in the sky and what their world entails. In this world, the Archangels are powerful, exceptionally beautiful, deadly, and they rule over humans, Vampires and the guild hunters (humans combat trained to hunter down rogue vampires). However, there is an ultimate rule that can't no be broken from the dawn of their time; "Only an Archangel can kill a fellow Archangel" which shows the power the Archangels wield which makes them to be the gods of their world.
So from this amazing series, I picked my favorite fictional character, Archangel Raphael. His character is fascinating to me and right from when I started reading this series, I immediately like him. He is the ruler of North America, one thousand and five hundred years old, beautiful and handsome with eyes like crush blue sapphire stones. His hair is as dark as the night and with magnificent white wings that has golden tips. Using this description above, I used AI to create a close image of him. Though I wasn't that satisfied with result but it's a little close but here is it anyways.

Raphael was born of two Archangels Caliane and Nadiel. Some people thought his birth shouldn't have occurred due to the fact that his parents were old already. He was brought up by his parents in the city of Amanat until something terrible happened with his father (insanity) that his mother had to execute him to avoid more bloodshed. Not long after that incident, his mother detoriated into madness too. Raphael took it up himself to stop his mother, but failed and was badly injured. I will say, Raphael had a rough start in life as a young lad but he didn't let his past define him but rather, he stayed strong to forge his own path.
His character is a unique, strong-willed, resilient, tenacious and powerful one. Even though he is the youngest of all the Archangels that ruled the world, he was feared and well respected because of the power he possessed and his love for the people he rules over. Raphael was described as a cold and remote leader who rules North America with an iron hand but he is not cruel, nor does he take pleasure in the harming of others. Raphael is also considered as a strong warrior and with an attraction to warrior women which is how he met his mate Elena Devereaux. A human and a guild hunter.
What Would I Do If I Met My Favorite Fictional Character?
I have actually thought about this happening and the first thing that came to my head then was that I would ask him to fly me around his city. However, before writing this post I got to think about this question well. If I were to meet Archangel Raphael, first I would go give him tight hug, of course I can't crush him, then I would ask him for one his feathers that I can hook into my hair and then I would ask him to fly around his city. It would be exhilarating to actually experience flying and see the world from a wide perspective without windows restricting you.
I am not done yet, haha, I have a lot questions to ask him, which might required both of us sitting down to converse. I have so many questions I am curious about to ask him in particular. Like I would to know more about his powers, more about history since he had lived for more than a thousand years. Did he meet Da Vinci? Did he meet Einstein? So many questions. Lastly, I would ask him to dust me his angel's dust Hahah and then I would pray Elena his mate doesn't have my head for it.
If I was born to their world, I would love to be part of his court because of how he treats his people with so much love, honest, and trust. However, If I have my way, I would very much love to be his mate/consort. I wonder, how exicting it would be, ps don't judge me, he just so beautiful.
If you have heard about this series before, I urge you to check it out and you won't be disappointed. It has all you expect in a good fantasy series. Is it war you are looking, you would get it in hardcore, is it steamy scenes and sex in the sky you are looking for, you would get in detailed words, and is it crime, mystery or action you are looking for, you would get it in a thrilling way. It has everything.

I love the Guild Hunter series and archangel Raphael is one of my favourite characters in this paranormal series. Before writing my entry, I thought of picking Elena as my favourite but Katsa won more points than her! Hehe.
