La semana pasada les estuve compartiendo una larga reseña sobre "Una corte de rosas y espinas" un libro que me atrapó desde el primer momento. Y hoy, les vengo a contar mis opiniones sobre el mejor libro de esta saga escrita por Sarah J. Mass "Una corte de niebla y furia". Este libro es la continuación de lo que pasa luego de Bajo la Montaña, con una Feyre completamente Alta Fae, acostumbrándose a su nueva vida, nuevo cuerpo, pero el mismo corazón. Este libro esta inspirado en la historia de Hades y Perséfone, así que es mucho mejor que el anterior, ya verán porque.
Last week I was sharing with you a long review about "A Court of Roses and Thorns" a book that caught me from the first moment. And today, I come to tell you my opinions about the best book of this saga written by Sarah J. Mass "A Court of Mist and Fury". This book is the continuation of what happens after Under the Mountain, with a completely High Fae Feyre, getting used to her new life, new body, but the same heart. This book is inspired by the story of Hades and Persephone, so it's much better than the previous one, you'll see why.
Comenzamos con la historia con una Feyre un tanto distinta, y no es para menos debido a los acontecimientos tan terribles que tuvo que vivir para salvar a Tamlin. Desde mi punto de vista, ella se rompió mentalmente para salvarlo, pero no se siente tan bien después de eso ya que tiene muchas pesadillas, ha perdido el deseo por pintar y ambos tienen problemas. Incluso, vemos un cambio radical en Tamlin, impidiéndole a Feyre básicamente ser feliz, negándole muchas cosas por su "seguridad" y planeando casarse para que ella solo tenga hijos. Pero, todo cambia el día de la boda, cuando ella frena en seco y pide ayuda en silencio. Es ahí cuando pasa uno de mis momentos favoritos y aparece Rhysand. Quien se la lleva hacia la Corte Noche como parte de su trato, que aún no habían honrado.
We begin the story with a somewhat different Feyre, and not for less due to the terrible events she had to live through to save Tamlin. From my point of view, she broke herself mentally to save him, but she doesn't feel so good after that since she has many nightmares, she has lost the desire to paint and they both have problems. We even see a radical change in Tamlin, basically preventing Feyre from being happy, denying her many things for her "safety" and planning to get married so that she only has children. But, everything changes on the day of the wedding, when she slams on the brakes and silently asks for help. That's when one of my favorite moments happens and Rhysand shows up. Who takes her to the Night Court as part of their deal, which they hadn't honored yet.
Los pocos momentos de Feyre en el palacio de la Corte Noche son bastante duros, ya que ella no acepta del todo estar ahí y se nota mucho lo rota que está, ya que el cambio es muy evidente, no se veía saludable. Y es cuando Tamlin encierra a Feyre que ella explota, ya que había pasado por alto un momento de violencia que él tuvo solo por "amor". Feyre's few moments in the Night Court palace are pretty rough, as she doesn't quite accept being there and it's very noticeable how broken she is, as the change is very evident, she didn't look healthy. And it is when Tamlin locks Feyre up that she explodes, as she had overlooked a moment of violence he had just for "love". Feyre's powers, given by the lords of each court, kick in and that's when Rhysand rescues her. When Feyre leaves with Rhys I was happy, as she needed to meet, explore and have a life away from the Spring Court. And what better place to be than a hidden city, Velaris, just to be herself and at the same time, start having friends like Rhys' inner circle, Amren, Mor, Cassian and Azriel.
Y es ahí cuando estos protagonistas comienzan a crear su amistad, que luego pasa al amor y se dan cuenta de que tienen el vínculo de Pareja, lo que se podía decir como almas gemelas. Y bueno, Rhys ya sabía, lo cual lo hace más especial porque comenzamos a atar cabos desde los acontecimientos del primer libro. Y no podría decirles lo mucho que me gustó este libro, porque tiene mucha acción, romance y una trama importante como lo es la guerra que se avecina entre los Faes contra un rey lejano. Me encanta que aquí vemos el crecimiento de Feyre, hablando de su fuerza de voluntad, su amor propio y también de sus poderes. Y si bien el final nos deja con ganas de más, creo que antes de continuar con el próximo libro de esta saga, recalco que este es el mejor de todos, nos leemos pronto!
And that's when these protagonists begin to create their friendship, which then moves on to love and they realize that they have the Couple bond, what you could say as soul mates. And well, Rhys already knew, which makes it all the more special because we start tying up ends from the events of the first book. And I couldn't tell you how much I loved this book, because it has a lot of action, romance and a major plot as is the coming war between the Faes against a distant king. I love that here we see Feyre's growth, talking about her willpower, her self-love and also her powers. And while the ending leaves us wanting more, I think before we continue with the next book in this saga, I stress that this is the best of them all, read soon!

Hola, compañero amante de ACOTAR! 😄 Hace poco leí los libros 1 a 4 de esta serie y los disfruté. El libro 2 es el mejor de todos. No pude evitar animar a Rhysand y Feyre y sentir pena por Tamlin. La autora ha desarrollado muy bien los personajes y su construcción del mundo es impresionante. Una buena crítica.
Hello, fellow ACOTAR lover! 😄 I recently read books 1 to 4 in this series and enjoyed them. Book 2 is the best out of them all. I couldn't help rooting for Rhysand and Feyre and felt sorry for Tamlin. The author developed the characters so well and her worldbuilding is impressive! A fine review.
