Es sabido que muchos nos enfocamos en libros referidos a novelas, poemarios, historias, cuentos y otro tipo de títulos; sin embargo, el día de hoy tenemos un enfoque un poco diferente y más educativo. En tal sentido; es importante que le demos una oportunidad a la entrega que les ofrezco; les hablo de la Enciclopedia Temática para el Estudiante Cole de la editorial Nauta. La misma nos brida una ayuda importante para el estudiante; porque si bien es cierto que en esta era digital podemos encontrar mucha información a través del internet; también es cierto, que al tener a mano una enciclopedia de este tipo, le puede brindar al estudiante datos un poco más confiables, precisos y que pueden no aparecer de forma redundante como se ubican en el internet.
Esta enciclopedia es un encuentro con la realidad, es una manera ordenada que tiene el estudiante para la búsqueda de datos interesantes, que se pueden obtener por materia o asignatura. Desde mi punto de vista; este texto es una guía importante para ampliar los conocimientos de quienes navegan por sus páginas y definitivamente; tenerla en nuestra biblioteca, para mí, es como una especie de inversión intelectual; no importa que haya pasado mucho tiempo; por lo menos he visto a mis hijos utilizarla y sacarle el máximo provecho; de hecho, particularmente le he echado un ojo a todo el texto y he descubierto cosas que realmente no sabía; como dicen, todos los días aprendemos algo nuevo.

Es un texto que difiere totalmente de los diccionarios y de otras enciclopedias que son meramente alfabéticas y textuales; porque aquí, la organización que nos presenta hace que el aprendizaje sea didáctico, ofreciendo por separado temas relacionados a la astronomía, geografía general, geología, mineralogía, biología, microbiología, zoología, anatomía, fisiología humana, botánica y agricultura; imagínese ustedes tener a la mano una obra tan completa y fabulosa; realmente es una herramienta que no tiene desperdicio.
Desde mi punto de vista; esta herramienta de estudio, funciona perfectamente como un intermediario entre el recinto escolar y la casa; ya que actúa como una extensión en el aprendizaje del individuo. Si surge una duda, debes hacer una investigación o si tienes que realizar cualquier tarea; definitivamente, con esta enciclopedia, de acuerdo a los temas aquí presentes, puedes localizar lo que desees; la cultura es sumamente importante.
Yo pienso; que al incentivar la indagación a través de los libros, el estudiante se aleja un poco de la información redundante que se consigue en internet; además; se crea en ellos ese sentimiento de búsqueda, de verificación y clasificación de la información; todos sabemos que hoy en día el uso de inteligencia artificial, permite crear cualquier cosa y los estudiantes se limitan a solo copiar y pegar, esto elimina en ellos su capacidad de análisis.
Otro punto a favor que tiene esta enciclopedia y por eso se aleja de otras que son puramente textuales; es que los escritos están acompañados de ilustraciones, esquemas y mapas conceptuales que apoyan el aprendizaje. Sencillamente; el diseño visual es grandioso y de esta manera el individuo puede aprender con mayor rapidez. Todos sabemos; que cuando se realiza cualquier presentación, la misma debe llevar en su contenido imágenes que facilitan la comprensión del tema, esto es sumamente práctico y didáctico.
En fin; el tener a la mano esta Enciclopedia Temática para el Estudiante Cole, representa mucho más que tener un simple libro dividido en materias; al contrario, es una guía tremenda para incentivar la investigación y el análisis de los estudiantes. Mejor aun; es el punto de partida para aclarar dudas, hacerse preguntas sobre lo investigado o aprender nuevos temas que nos pueden servir para el futuro.
