Saludos mis queridos amigos de Plant Power (Vegan), es un placer para mi estar nuevamente con todos ustedes. El día de hoy les traigo unas sabrosas Caraotas Blancas en Escabeche; les confieso que es primera vez que las preparo y las pruebo, la verdad es que me encantó. Éstas deliciosas caraotas las disfrute con mi mamá la tarde de hoy en casa. Es muy fácil de hacer y lo mejor es que se necesitan de ingredientes que siempre tenemos en casa, a continuación te muestro el paso a paso para su preparación.

Greetings my dear friends of Plant Power (Vegan), it is a pleasure for me to be with all of you again. Today I bring you some tasty Pickled White Beans; I confess that it is the first time that I have prepared and tried them, the truth is that I loved them. These delicious beans are enjoyed with my mom this afternoon at home. It is very easy to make and the best thing is that you need ingredients that we always have at home, below I show you the step by step for its preparation.

Ingredientes:

• 150 gramos de caraotas blancas crudas
• 1/4 de cebolla morada pequeña
• 1 diente de ajo
• 1/2 cucharadita de pimentón molido
• 1/4 cucharadita de oregano seco
• 2 cucharadas de perejil
• 1 1/2 cucharadas de vinagre
• 2 cucharadas de aceite

Ingredients:

• 150 grams of raw white beans
• 1/4 small red onion
• 1 clove garlic
• 1/2 teaspoon of ground paprika
• 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
• 2 tablespoons of parsley
• 1 1/2 tablespoons of vinegar
• 2 tablespoons of oil

Paso a paso:

Step by step:

Vamos a iniciar nuestra receta del día de hoy lavando las caraotas, luego las agregamos en la olla de presión con agua que las cubra. Seguidamente cerramos la olla y dejamos cocinar por 30 minutos, una vez que ha pasado el tiempo dejamos salir la presión para luego destapar la olla y vemos que nuestras caraotas blancas estan blandas. Colamos y dejamos enfriar.

We are going to start our recipe for today by washing the beans, then we add them to the pressure cooker with water that covers them. Next we close the pot and let it cook for 30 minutes, once the time has passed we let the pressure out and then uncover the pot and see that our white beans are soft. Strain and let cool.

Después vamos a cortar en cuadros pequeños la cebolla morada, el ajo y el perejil.

Then we are going to cut the purple onion, garlic and parsley into small squares.

Ya que tenemos todos los ingredientes listos añadimos las caraotas en un envase, luego agregamos el resto de los ingredientes; empezamos incorporando la cebolla, perejil y ajo, luego el pimentón, el aceite, oregano, la sal, y por ultimo el vinagre.

Since we have all the ingredients ready, we add the beans in a container, then we add the rest of the ingredients; We start by incorporating the onion, parsley and garlic, then the paprika, the oil, oregano, the salt, and finally the vinegar.

Con ayuda de una cuchara removemos hasta integrar muy bien todos los ingredientes. Y ya estan listas nuestras deliciosas caraotas.

With the help of a spoon, stir until all the ingredients are well integrated. And our delicious beans are ready.

Colocamos unas hojas de perejil en el centro para decorar, y ya podemos disfrutar del sabor de estas deliciosas Caraotas Blancas en Escabeche.

We place some parsley leaves in the center to decorate, and now we can enjoy the flavor of these delicious Pickled White Beans.

I thought we make people of everything what is possible, but I would never think of white beans or pickled beans in general. It's such an easy recipe and I'm sure it is delicious, so I will try it as soon as beans are ready in my garden.
