Banana Wrapped In Cassava
Cassava combined with banana has a different taste quality. Traditional snacks usually taste quite sweet. So what if today we will make a traditional dish, which has the natural sweetness of bananas. And the combination of cassava and grated coconut will bring us new creations in your home kitchen.
Well, this delicious snack dish is very popular outside Aceh, but in the city I rarely see this food. But because I really like looking at social media about food, this delicious snack is not at all foreign to me. It's just that when I have cassava, I rarely have pusang at home so this snack always fails in my kitchen. However, since today all the ingredients are available at home, let me invite you to make this snack!
Materials Used
200 grams of grated cassava
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
A teaspoon of vanilla powder
To taste green coloring
To taste red coloring
Creation Procedure
Prepare cassava that has been grated and squeezed out the water in a container, and divide it into 2 parts of the mixture.
Next, add green or red coloring to the two containers containing the cassava.
Then stir the mixture until the color is mixed evenly and according to what you want. Now after the color is finished they look very beautiful in green and red.
Then add vanilla powder to each cassava mixture, then add salt.
Then add cornstarch and stir until evenly mixed.
Prepare a whole banana then peel the banana skin. Here for this dough I used only 3 bananas.
Then flatten the red dough, then the green dough next to it.
Then add the rolled banana or glue the dough so that it sticks to the entire surface of the banana.
Make sure the cassava mixture is not coated too thickly, so do this until all the mixture is used up and you're done.
Next, steam the cassava banana in a heated pan, also steam the grated coconut. Steam for approximately 15 minutes until the cassava and banana are perfectly cooked.
Once cooked, remove and roll the cassava banana in steamed grated coconut, then serve.

Tara!!!
Now the colored cassava wrapped banana is ready to be served, serve it and cut it into small sizes so it's easy to enjoy. Just look how beautiful they look. If you have candied palm sugar or palm sugar sauce, you can drizzle it on top. However, because I don't like it too sweet, this is the right taste choice. Natural sweetness from bananas and a delicious chewy taste from cassava and the perfect combination of grated coconut.
For those of you who are confused about processing cassava, try this easy way to prepare this recipe. Apart from being economical and easy, this recipe is enough to make your day happier and more colorful. Just look at the color, your child will definitely like it at home.

Your presentation looks very delicious, the colors make it unique and the important thing is that there are only a few ingredients. I never imagined giving color to yucca, but it is quite a challenge. And just with coconut, my mouth is watering. Thanks for sharing.
