Making a simple dish at home as a complementary menu for our lunch, of course fried tempeh is always our target at home, why not tempeh fried crispy like this makes us addicted to eating it again and again?

Hi culinary friends around the world, how are you, I hope you are all well here and can enjoy your favorite special foods, talking about special foods, it doesn't have to be expensive food, as long as the cooking method is easy and the food is delicious, like tempeh which can be said to be quite cheap in my place, but I will process tempeh to make a delicious dish according to our family at home, just fry it crispy like this and add celery leaves, that's enough for us at home.

Today I will invite you to make a dish that I think is very simple but most sought after by all groups, why not when we enjoy it as if we are addicted to eating it again, what else if not fried tempeh, crispy and crunchy fried tempeh I fried using rice flour mixed with tapioca flour and I also added a little ground spices into it and as other complementary ingredients I added celery leaves and spring onions, to add a fragrant aroma to this tempeh

I'm curious about how I fry this tempeh until it's crispy and stays crispy for a long time. Okay, just follow the steps that I will share in my post today.

Materials used

4 tablespoons rice flour
2 tablespoons tapioca flour
1 block tempeh
1 stalk celery
1 stalk spring onion
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt to taste

Manufacturing procedure

First

I put finely ground coriander and finely ground garlic into the mixture of tapioca flour and rice flour, I used instant garlic powder and coriander powder.

Second

I put water into the flour mixture, not too much, the main thing is that the mixture should not be too thick or too runny, then I cut the celery leaves.

Third

I put celery leaves into the flour mixture and stirred them until they were evenly mixed. Then I cut the tempeh as thin as possible and dipped it in the flour solution and then fried it until cooked.

RESULTS

This is the result, the thinner you cut the tempeh, the crispier and crunchier it will be, and the secret to frying tempeh to make it crispy like this is that you should never fry it using wheat flour, you must use rice flour plus tapioca flour, the ratio is one to two, okay?

it tastes very crunchy, and very savory, the taste of the spices is very noticeable in my mouth, the saltiness is also just right, very suitable as a snack or side dish for your warm rice, especially added with spicy cayenne pepper, if you like spicy you can eat it together with the red cayenne pepper, but if you don't like spicy you don't need to use cayenne pepper, dipped in sabal sauce is also delicious,,
