First time making crispy tempeh chips

If yesterday I made sweet and spicy chips from cassava, today I will try something new again, namely chips made from tempeh, have you ever made it, tempeh chips that I often find in markets, chips with a crunchy texture, now I can serve them at home in the midst of my beloved family, they really like any chips, be it tempeh chips, cassava chips, even banana chips

There are many ingredients that we can make into chips, but I have never made chips made from tempeh before, usually I just fry chips coated with flour, but they are not very crispy, right? This is different from chips, the texture of which is crunchy, especially with the spices that we will add to the chip mixture.

Who among you loves chips? Just like me, I like any kind of chips, but sometimes I don't know how to make them so that the chips are delicious, but after I found the recipe on the internet a few days ago, it turns out that making tempeh chips is very easy, anyone can make them as long as they have the will to try.

So, for those of you who are curious about my easy way to make tempeh chips, just follow the steps that I will share in my post today.


Materials used

1 block of tempeh
100 grams of wheat flour
50 grams of tapioca flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon mushroom stock
Lime leaves and celery leaves to taste


Manufacturing procedure



First


First I took tempeh then I mashed the tempeh until the tempeh was crushed, I mashed it using a pestle

I then chopped the celery leaves and lime leaves, then I put them into the mashed tempeh, I also added the ground spices.

Next, I add the flour and water gradually, then I knead until smooth, until the dough can be shaped.

then I took a little dough and then I put it in a plastic bag and flattened it as thin as possible until it became round

Next, I fry the tempeh until cooked, until it is brown and perfectly crispy.

RESULTS

Here are the results, my favorite tempeh chips are ready, these tempeh chips are very crispy, I serve them on a black plate and also serve them on these green flower leaves, to make it prettier hehehe. for one board of tempeh this is the result, it's a bit too much, if your house is crowded with people, you can fry 2 boards of tempeh so that the chips will be more later
To fry 2 or more pieces of tempeh, just adjust the flour in my recipe. The main thing is that the ratio of wheat flour and tapioca flour is 1:1/2, don't use 1:1, otherwise it won't be crispy.

I eat it with chili sauce, to make it spicier, spicy, savory and crunchy mixed together, just eating it like that is very delicious, without dipping sauce is also very delicious, because the crunchy texture makes these chips very easy to chew, this snack is very suitable as a friend when watching TV at home with family

In my house, everyone loves chips, including my husband. Every time my husband comes home from work, he always looks for snacks to eat. So, as a solution, I always have a way to make crispy and delicious snacks for us to eat together after coming home from work.
