Hello everyone, hope everyone is well. Today I am sharing a delicious curry recipe with water spinach & alligator weed.I am going to tell you how to cook it easily in Bengali style.Let's see -

Ingredients :

Water spinach - 250 grams
Alligator weed - 100 grams
Pumpkin pilule - 15-17 pcs
Green chillies - 8 pcs
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
Oil - As needed

I took 100 grams of alligator weed. If I take more alligator weed it can spoil the flavor of the curry.

Then I took 250 grams of water spinach. Weight will decrease after frying water spinach. So you can take 400 grams if you want.

Add oil to the pan. Heat oil on medium heat.It takes 30 seconds.

Fry 15-17 pcs pumpkin pilule in hot oil. Pumpkin pilule will add more flavor to the recipe. You can take 20-25 pumpkin pills if you want.

Pumpkin pilule will take 2-3 minutes to fry. After frying keep it in another bowl. Will add it again later.

Cut the vegetables into small pieces. The smaller it is cut, the better it will boil and fry.

Add the vegetables now. Mix water spinach and alligator weed in a bowl. Then follow the next steps.

Now add the vegetables to the pan. Mix the necessary ingredients and boil them.

Add salt and turmeric as needed. I used 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon tumeric.Tumeric will make the color more attractive.

Cover the pan for 2-3 minutes. By this time the potatoes will be boiled. Then open the lid.

I added about 100 grams more kamali shak. Because after frying it reduced in quantity. So take 400 grams of water spinach in the beginning.

Add water as needed after frying the vegetables. No need to add extra water.

Now add chilies as required. I like chillies so gave 8 pcs chillies.

Add the chilies to the pan. But not everyone likes chili. So add chilli as per your need.

Cover the pan for another 5 minutes. Now everything will boil better. After 5 minutes remove the lid.

Now add the pumpkin pilule to the pan. Pumpkin pilule will increase the taste while eating. This is my favorite. It is a traditional food of Bengalis.

Keep the curry in the pan for another 2 minutes on medium heat.Then take it down.
