'Pocket Sandwich' is a delicious snack that you have to try.

Today I brought to show you how to make a pocket sandwich from the art that I love. This is a different taste for us when we bring bread home and eat it the same way. You can actually have family tea time. Can be taken as a snack. Or even for a child's lunch box. So let's see how to make it.

Ingredients;

  • About six slices of bread
  • About 50ml of water
  • One and a half cups of bread flour

  • About two small potatoes
  • About two small sized b onions
  • About one green chili pod
  • A few curry leaves
  • About half a ripe tomato
  • About half a teaspoon of curry powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt powder
  • About half a teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 150ml of oil
  • 20g of breadcrumbs

The method of making;

Cut the well-washed and cleaned potatoes, onion, tomato, green chillies and curry leaves into small pieces.

Add the cut potato pieces to a pot and add enough water to cover the pieces and boil for about three minutes.

Now let's prepare the filling for this. For that, heat a pan and add two tablespoons of oil to it. When the oil heats up, add chopped onions and curry leaves and stir fry.

Add green chillies.

Then add turmeric powder with half teaspoon of salt powder to it.

We will keep this 1/4 teaspoon of salt powder for make batter.

Now add curry powder to it and mix well.

Add chilli powder and stir.

Add the boiled potato pieces and cover with a lid and cook well for about two minutes on average.

Now add the chopped tomato pieces and stir them, remove from the heat and transfer to another bowl to cool.

Now take two bread slices and place them on top of each other and roll them tightly.

Now we need to cut out the circular shapes. I used this kind of glass for that. You can take any circular utensil and cut circles out of these breads.

Let's make batter. For that take one and half tablespoons of bread flour and put remaining salt powder to it and mix well.

Now add water little by little to make a liquid mixture. Remember to add four cups of water for this.

Dip the prepared round bread slices in the liquid.

Then spread the breadcrumbs.

Add oil and fry until golden on both sides.

Cut the fried circular shape bread into two.

Add the filling to the middle and taste it.

Perfect for a snack. And it's perfect for tea time. Perfect for a picnic snack. You can taste the bread if you have it at any time. It doesn't cost much. Even children love it. You can even add it to the children's lunch box.

This looks really a perfect snacks to enjoy with the family. The process is not that hard though, esp you used a bread where we can just buy somewhere. I'll try this maybe one of these days 🤔
