It's almost the turn of the year and many mothers have prepared interesting dishes for their beloved families. Gathering with family is something that many people look forward to, especially if you only have time to gather once a year.
Family gathering is not fun without snacks. Therefore today I will share a unique snack recipe. You don't have to worry about the ingredients to make this recipe, because all the ingredients come from plant based.
Even though it's made from plants, you can make it in an easy way and it tastes delicious.
The recipe that I will share is crispy spinach leaf chips. As the name implies, spinach leaf chips are made from spinach leaves.
The story this morning, my husband bought a bunch of spinach for me from the traditional market. but because I already cooked a side dish for lunch, so the spinach was just put on the table, until noon I didn't cook it.
In the afternoon, I just remembered the spinach earlier, I saw the condition was starting to wilt, I finally decided to make spinach leaf chips. These chips are supposed to be made of broad spinach leaves, so it's easy to fry them, but the spinach leaves that I'm going to process, are small😇😇😇
let's make the spinach leaf chips. Previously, we prepared the ingredients, namely:
6 tablespoons of wheat flour (the amount of flour adjusted to the many spinach leaves).
1 tablespoon tapioca flour
1/2 teaspoon salt, but you can reduce or add salt according to your taste.
1 clove of garlic
1 sachet of pepper powder
enough water
enough cooking oil
Don't forget the main ingredient, spinach leaves, you should choose the broadleaf, but if you don't have broadleaf, even the small leaf is fine (same taste as spinach)😅
How to make crispy spinach leaf chips is :
The first step we separate the spinach leaves from the stems (don't throw the stalks away, they can still be used for cooking), after that we wash the spinach leaves, drain them so the water reduces.
The second step mix tapioca flour with wheat flour.
The third step puree the garlic with salt, I use a pestle.
The fourth step is to mix the ground spices into the flour.
The fifth step add water little by little into the flour mixture until a dough forms, if the dough is too runny you can add wheat flour.
The sixth step add pepper powder to taste, the purpose is to add pepper powder so that the dough is richer in taste, don't forget to mix the dough well.
The seventh step it's time to fry, let's prepare the spinach leaves and the dough.
The eighth step heat the cooking oil
fry the spinach that has been mixed into the flour mixture, use medium heat when frying. Don't forget to turn the fries over, so they don't burn on one side, fry until brown.
fry until all the dough runs out, remember to adjust the amount of flour with the number of spinach leaves.
Crispy spinach leaf chips are ready to be served, I serve them with sauce.

This recipe looks very good @umirais, I usually eat spinach in salads, I used to eat it in creams, but I didn't really like it that much; however, this way of preparing it looks great, especially because they are crispy and additionally we can add the spice we like the most. I think that with amaranth leaves you can also achieve a good result. Greetings.
