Hello, dear friend of Hive Blog!❤️

I was shopping with Mom today. We walked several shops because she was looking for the perfect gift for her secret Christmas friend. Until we walked into a place where they sell dresses.

While she was looking at some, I went to another section. I found books, 5 for $1. They were in promotion because in my country, Venezuela, the native language is Spanish, but the books were in English.

I saw an opportunity there. I have a bookshelf full of books in Spanish, and I've always wanted books in English so I could get acquainted with the language a little.

The ones that caught my attention the most are the ones you see with me in the three photos, Billy and Me, by Giovanna Fletcher; Invisible Girl by Lisa Jewell; and The Death of Mrs Westaway, by Ruth Ware. Have you read any of them?

Being a promotion, it had to carry 5. So I took two others, which I also saw as excellent opportunities to expand my library. These were, Tell Me a Secret, by Jane Fallon; and More Than a Mum, by Charlene Allcot.

Every one of your covers, beautiful. they simply captivated me, and the price bought me.

Books are extremely expensive in my country. These that I bought are second hand, but, they are in very good condition. I guess this is another reason to have such an economical price.

So the moral I give you today is: Take advantage of every opportunity that life gives you, you are simply wonderful.

Speaking of opportunities...

Another reason that prompted this purchase was an Instagram video yesterday. I took the afternoon to rest for a while, browsing the feed a girl told that the European Union had free English courses.

This is a language I want to learn. My native language is Spanish, and I use the translator to translate, and communicate with people who don't speak my language. I don't like using it, I would like to learn, to be able to read, speak, understand what they say.

He also trusted that it would serve me a lot, providing me with opportunities to travel and work.

I signed up this afternoon, so wish me luck on this trip.

I hope to start reading these beautiful books that I bought today soon. :)

Zul. ❤️
