The U.S. is a machine that fulfills a purpose, which is to show the world what happens when a machine rules the thoughts and emotions of people. The process that the country is currently facing is dark and difficult to traverse, but not hard to predict as all the moving pieces are bound to one principle: liberation. Each group and individual must find their own way through a maze of profound pain that calls for the most basic sense of community, the tribal circle where all can express themselves and be heard by their peers. Although this is a nationwide process, each family and neighborhood must go through it on their own before they can join other areas in a common purpose. Native wisdom is essential for this task, the structures and schemes of present artifices are insufficient and even detrimental, the concepts of markets, capital, spending, power and science are trampling over a much more primordial sense of unity that has left each agency effectively isolated from the larger apparatus. Clockwork hearts make cold, cruel choices that only seemingly benefit a few while condemning the whole to chaos. Americans must find ways to connect meaningfully with one another in these times, recognizing their own struggle in the people around them; this is a spiritual and emotional rollercoaster that won't abate its spinning rhythm for a long time and may force many out of its influence, demanding a change of step and making possibilities into inevitabilities. In this time, Raidho counsels deep self-review, reflection and willing exploration of individual darkness, as well as the formation of new familial and filial principles. The economy is also declining rapidly and will continue to show signs of collapse, demanding brand-new approaches that are difficult to apply even in the best contexts; corporate giants, financial institutions and old-time wealth will experience severe backlash and be forced to cut their losses or vanish entirely. However, Uruz also speaks of a natural, concerted choice among citizens to slow down and revise the course of action; of the acknowledgement of a desire to stop moving and relax for a time in reflection and meditation. A reconnection to the animal world and the open landscapes would be enormously beneficial in the months and years to come, passions are running high and a moment of respite could be all the difference between the dire and the manageable. Like the previous Rune, this one points to the importance of finding the means to open society to tribal cultures and ancient heritage, since the modern paths of healing are losing efficacy and also becoming less accessible to the majority. Americans are strongly advised to care for their personal health through whatever methods they can find, this process is taxing at all levels and will become even moreso; physical, mental and emotional feebleness could spell disaster for households and businesses.
Isa
Like Raidho, this Rune speaks of control bred by an increasing sense of fear arising from intense social division, as well as the coldness and cruelty of systemic reactions to a situation of growing chaos. The profusion of limits and restrictions, the closing of borders and boundaries at all territorial levels and the rise of identity conflicts are signs of this reaction, and must be tempered with silence and strict self-restraint whenever possible. Also like the previous Runes, Isa calls for a return to the most fundamental principles of humanity and community, where the pillars of society may be returned to their former health and station, which may require profound political and economic reform that will be hard to sell and even harder to swallow for the population. At the same time, the aforementioned restrictions will likely meet resistance, with protests and strikes as an attempt to break through imposed barriers and arbitrary rules, which will in turn harden the response of the State in the form of repression, a vicious cycle that can only be overcome by the relaxation of measurements and standards. The Rune speaks of falsehoods used to promote fake behavioral codes, but it also cautions that these codes may be necessary to show the degree of structural deterioration and galvanize common action. Reparations for past mistakes will have to be forced from those in power, symbolic gestures won't be accepted and public demand for accountability will unveil a vast and complex web of internal dissent and dereliction of duty that will further reduce people's faith in leaders, prompting the emergence of new islands of self-regulation inaccessible to federal authorities. Isa recommends a serious study of moral values and a revision of legal frameworks, as well as the expansion of imaginative skills particularly through literature and poetry.

I live in the USA and everything is "normal" - of course the value of the dollar is plummeting but everything is the same as it has been for a long while - people are dumb but it doesn't matter because the Creator always provides an alternative dimension for those of us who are not mainstream. There are plenty of ways for fringe people like me to get what we need- and that will always be true. I forwee that I will always have what I need as I always have had - dependence upon Nature and Natural Law will afford everyone what they need - the system is horrid - but it always has been - so nothing has changed much since the lockdowns. People are still unwilling to do what it takes to form community - so it hasn't gotten painful enough yet.
For those who are aware of how to create their own reality, everything in this world has a workaround. And people who know how to form a community are always going to have an advantage. Reading this I have to wonder if I experience a lot of this stuff before most people. A lot of it described certain feelings I had when my health issues started.

That's a really hard thing to learn, though. As for the experience, perhaps you saw some mild previews, but I believe the situation as expressed by the Runes is far from anything any of us have experienced, even in countries like mine. It's the collapse of an empire, after all.
