Well, for the record am a student of the prestigious university of uyo, uyo Akwa-Ibom state Nigeria, currently in my finals, am a lover of arts especially when it has to do with music, drama, poetry, sculptures, basically because its depict creativity and a sense of genuine performance,

Today I decided to take you all thru my schools Town campus tour on some of my most admired statues what they all depicts, anyways you re free to view it on your own perspectives and personalized it if you wish,

Here’s another MORTAL MECHANICAL MAN, well he kinda reminds me of the terminator series I loved watching so much, let’s say he’s God of the universe fixing the planet with the moon in his hands half man, half machine,... cool right?

here’s an African lady with her water pot in the stream probably caught up in her own thought of the moment say thinking about her husband at the war front, or maybe the complexity of life’s omen , before civilization hits Africa in the early 90's.

before civilization came to Africa and the western folks came in, this was mainly the line of trade apart from farm produce, A MAN WEAVING A BASKET till date this basket is till handy most traders, market women use it to carry tomatoes, pepper, onion and other stuff to the market for sale

Its common in Africa even till date in some rural communities for chiefs to fight over the throne, who will be the next king to rule the land, this sculpture depicts chiefs fighting over the throne, they rather prefer “A STONE ON THE THRONE” instead of any of them seating on it,, how funny hahaha 😂😂😂

Here’s a scenario where a police office seriously molesting a preacher in the earlier days of missionaries in Africa most part of Africa did not embrace the new religion so most times missionaries find them selves in situation like this

This is an uta blower in Ibibio land……… Ibibio land is a efik speaking tribe in Akwa ibom state Nigeria, the uta is a musical instrument and the person who blows it must be skilled it, as it a very important musical piece especially in a traditional ceremonial setting

Probably drained from from studies stressed out tired and weary , this sculpture depicts academic stress especially during exam period were one has to study more in other to get good grades,

Adaptation of ancient Ibibio mask to cubism, cubism is a style of art that stresses abstract structure at the expense of other pictorial element especially by display several aspect of the same object simultaneously and by fragmenting the form of depicted objects

Child abuse by the mother, this is still common till today in Africa, were children are beaten or shouted at, this mother uses a frying pan to beat the child probably over what the child did or didn’t do,

Cultism is very common in most higher institution, , most youngster engage in this because of Say protection , peer pressure, among other vices, this sculpture depicts the adverse effect or say consequence of engaging in such act

This sculpture of a man who struggling real hard to make progress or advance in life but is stagnant, rooted at a spot, looking down at the foot you see the root of the tree twisting round his leg, no matter how hard he pull the tree is deep rooted to the ground. This is mostly common in Africa maybe some kind of spell or enchantment has been done.

This is a cultural mullato, it means one that is born of, or a breed of two distinct cultures, in this case the man combines both English outfit and cultural attire together

A MOTHER OF TWIN CRYING BITTERLY AFTER HER TWIN WERE KILLED this was the predominate case in Africa especially Nigeria before the coming of Marry selessor who stop the killings, telling the locals that twins were gift from God not some sort of abominatrion they thought of as the time,

This is sculpture depicts the effect of the coronavitus era in 2019-2020 on education, bringing about the popularity of the e-learning system especially in Africa
