Since I studied in elementary school, going through my children's school and now that of my grandchildren, I have noticed that it has been the same forever. It has only changed one or another subject that I saw that now they do not give it, they eliminated it.
Let's start from the beginning; KINDERGARTEN.
By the time I began my studies there was no Kindergarten modality, the children were enrolled in a ¨Escuelita¨ so that they would prepare the child in mathematics, reading and writing in order to enter the first grade with good foundations. The ¨Escuelita¨ was a house where an adult, whether he was an educator or not, received a child with learning difficulties or to be trained in those subjects mentioned so that his learning was made easier.
My children did study in Kindergarten and it is a preparation that they do to the child so that he takes love to studies and plays so that it does not become tedious. Only until the 3rd level (4, 5 or 6 years) do they begin to teach them letters and numbers, as a basis for primary school.
My oldest granddaughter had a bad experience in Kindergarten, she did not want to go to school, she did not do homework, she cried when she was dropped off at school and she did not advance. My daughter changed her school and her whole world changed. He would come and do his homework and he learned quickly to read and write and what happened was that he did not like the teacher. Many educators do not have the patience with children and that hurts the student. This new teacher was caring and soft-spoken to her and she liked it so much that she asked for her as a teacher for the following year.
Elementary School
I did elementary school in a public school, in Venezuela there are many and they are free. There are also private ones, where you must pay a monthly fee for the child's education and it is well endorsed by the Ministry of Education.
Primary school ranges from 1st grade to 6th grade, in this last year they give you a certificate of having passed 6th grade and you can study preparatory.
I studied elementary school together with my 3 older brothers, my mother only gave us the money to pay for the bus that left us at the school gate but we preferred to go walking to eat a snack at recess time and then we would return on foot again.
When I studied I did not notice it because I was a very quiet and respectful girl, but with my children I noticed that some teachers had some children in the classroom as their favorites, the best jobs, the best tasks, regardless of whether the others had had difficulties to do. their duties. For them, the tasks prepared on the internet were the ones with the best grades, but not everyone had access to the internet.
The high school
In high school everything is different from what you are used to doing in a classroom, I mean that now we see 12 subjects, each with a different teacher and a different classroom. It is a bit difficult at first to get used to this schedule and changes in the study. It goes from 1st year to 5th year, some high schools give up to 6th year and give an extra subject so that the student goes directly to work in a company. For example, my son studied until 6th year and came out with the mention of Electrician. If he had not wanted or could not continue studying, he already had a base to work with.
**The UNIVERSITY:****
In the city where I live, Maracaibo, there is a free University for all the students of a State, you can understand that not all enter it. Many young people are left without a university degree since they cannot afford a private one. In 2004, a scholarship program was created for outgoing young people from High School to study in the best universities in the State and for free, all payments were made by the Government, a decree issued by the then Governor Manuel Rosales. Thanks to this initiative, millions of young people were able to pursue a university degree.

Desde que yo estudié en la primaria, pasando por la escuela de mis hijos y ahora la de mis nietos he notado que ha sido lo mismo desde siempre. Solo ha cambiado una que otra materia que yo vi que ahora no la dan, la eliminaron.
Comencemos del principio; el KINDER.
Para cuando yo comencé mis estudios no había la modalidad de Kinder, a los niños se les inscribía en una ¨Escuelita¨ para que prepararan al niño en matemáticas, lectura y escritura para así entrar al primer grado con buenas bases. La ¨Escuelita¨ era una casa donde un adulto, fuera educador o no, recibía a un niño con dificultades de aprendizaje o para que lo adiestraran en esas materias mencionadas para que se le hiciera más fácil su aprendizaje.
Mis hijos si estudiaron en Kinder y es una preparación que le hacen al niño para que le tome amor a los estudios y juegan para que no se les haga tedioso. Solo hasta el 3er nivel (4, 5 o 6 años) es que comienzan a enseñarles letras y números, como base a la primaria.
Mi nieta mayor tuvo una mala experiencia en Kinder, no quería ir a la escuela, no hacía tareas, lloraba cuando se le dejaba en el colegio y no avanzaba. Mi hija la cambió de colegio y todo su mundo cambió. Llegaba y hacía sus tareas y aprendió rápido a leer y escribir y lo que sucedía era que no le gustaba la maestra. Muchos educadores no tienen la paciencia con los niños y eso le hace daño al alumno. Esta nueva maestra era cariñosa y le hablaba suave y a ella le gustó tanto que la pidió como maestra para el siguiente año.
La PRIMARIA:
La primaria la hice en una escuela pública, en Venezuela hay muchas y son gratuitas. También hay privadas, donde debes pagar una mensualidad por la educación del niño y está bien avalado por el Ministerio de Educación.
La primaria abarca desde 1er grado hasta 6to grado, en este último año te dan un certificado de haber aprobado el 6to grado y puede estudiar el Bachillerato o preparatoria.
La primaria la estudié junto con mis 3 hermanos mayores, mi mamá nos daba solo el dinero de pagar el autobús que nos dejaba en la puerta de la escuela pero nosotros preferíamos irnos caminando para comer una merienda en la hora del receso y luego regresábamos a pie otra vez.
Cuando yo estudié no lo noté porque era una niña muy callada y respetuosa, pero con mis hijos noté que algunas maestras tenían algunos niños del salón como sus favoritos, los mejores trabajos, las mejores tareas, sin importar si los demás habían pasado dificultades por hacer sus deberes. Para ellas las tareas elaboradas en internet eran las que tenían mejores notas, pero no todos tenían acceso al internet.
El Bachillerato:
En la preparatoria todo es distinto a lo que vienes acostumbrado a hacer en un aula, me refiero a que ahora vemos 12 materias, cada una con diferente profesor y diferente aula. Es un poco difícil al principio acostumbrase a este horario y cambios en el estudio. Va desde 1er año hasta 5to año, algunos liceos dan hasta 6to año y dan una materia extra como para que el alumno salga directo a trabajar en una empresa. Por ejemplo, mi hijo estudió hasta 6to año y salío con la mención de Electricista. Si él no hubiera querido o no hubiera podido seguir estudiando, ya tenía una base para trabajar.
La UNIVERSIDAD:
En la ciudad donde vivo, Maracaibo, hay una Universidad gratuita para todos los alumnos de un Estado, pueden comprender que no todos entran en ella. Son muchos los jóvenes que se quedan sin una carrera universitaria ya que no pueden pagar una privada. En el año 2004 fue creado un programa de Becas para jóvenes salientes de Preparatoria para estudiar en las mejores universidades del Estado y gratis, todos los pagos los hacía la Gobernación, decreto emitido por el entonces Gobernador Manuel Rosales. Gracias a esta iniciativa millones de jóvenes pudieron lograr hacer una carrera universitaria.
