Looks like your school's system is almost the same as ours.
We also have six years to study in highschool
And I also started from kindergarten but now our system has changed a little
We now have creché before kindergarten.
I understand your crying daughter that didn't really like going to school.
A free university? That sounds great i think even though its not everyone that gets into it.
And that's very nice of the government to organize a scholarship program for the students.

It was wonderful to see that my children obtained their scholarships, but that ended with the current dictatorial government that eliminated them. So we went back to the old thing dear @zanoz. The study programs are very similar in each country, in Colombia I realized that basic education is like high school here, its subjects are individual with different teachers.
