Being indian I dont its a default setting that you address people of you parents age as Uncle or Auntie
I think that's a generic Asian thing, I grew up in a predominantly Chinese community with a healthy sprinkling of Malay and a handful of "other" (me, some Indians and some Europeans) and all the "adults" were aunty and uncle.
I remember life being like that on my island, same deal the neighbours came over very frequently, sometimes we went to their house but my mum really likes having people over and entertaining so people coming to ours was much more normal. My parents know everyone and meanwhile sibling dearest and I kind of just recognise people by sight maybe (only if I've seen them often enough in my case x_x).
We don't hang out much with the neighbours here but we all know each other well enough to ask to keep an eye on each other's places and collect mail when going away, and the seniors on one side will occasionally yell at us to come help them with stuff if their kids aren't availble (not often as the kids visit very frequently). One of the neighbours on another side is a rental though so they keep changing. Everything and everyone is busy though and that's kind of stupid, I get looking for your people but some people look so hard for particularly "their people" that they exclude anyone that doesn't exactly match a narrow set of parameters and unnecessarily exclude a lot of interesting people like that.
Also nothing you did made you sound like a bad neighbour unless your parties were very frequent and very noisy in which case you were probably an annoying uni student of a neighbour for hopefully a brief period XD If you're a bad neighbour because you only have very shallow interactions with your neighbours for the most part then everyone is a bad neighbour because anyone could knock on a door and say hey come over for a block party (or something smaller) if you're free or even chat over the fence (slightly more challenging these days as the fences are super high for privacy) but most of us won't because that's terrifying.
