When I asked my friend here who happens to be an insurance company employee "Do you think my students all think I'm a crazy hippie?", he replied "You seem like a soft hippie".
I like that.
Since then I've thought of myself as a "soft hippie", like, I don't really need to confine myself to the counter culture, I'm not even counter culture. I am just chillin. I'm just a friendly love-troll.
Anyway, Yoyogi Park is known for having these free festivals. "Earth Garden" is my favorite, though if you say it with a Japanese accent, it sounds like "Ass Garden.". I wish my local friends found that as funny as I do.
We didn't get a video of the ska band or the food or even most of the clothing. I was just happy to see these kinds of fun people outside playing and enjoying life. and it was free, minus the sandwich and curry and hat we bought.
The first video was my favorite performance, really ambient vibe with the awesome dancer. Next is some people chilling. The drum march was actually the cleanup group walking around to pick up garbage, many kids helping. The last was, well, post rock!
I tried my first hand at basic video editing...still got a ways to go but I had fun with it.
