RE: Stop and start

I am going to be doing a new photographic series called traction - or maybe, I dunno, friction. I find great enjoyment in looking at where things have scrambled for traction, be it the tracks of a bicycle Tyre just off the path, or the repeated footfall of people in the dirt across from the train station, or the little potholes in the road just after speed bumps or railway lines where rubber picks back up again.

I've got a few photos of these things, they are mundane, but interesting. They show the absence of presence, and the traffic of a place.

As long as it makes you happy, that's what counts.
