PeakD has the option for trending by views and you can sort by most viewed Today, Yesterday, This Week, Current Month, Previous Month.

Wow I did not know this, going to check this out.
it is only most viewed on Peakd, because they can't know what is happening on other frontends. When you go to Explore tab first is all topics and next is Most viewed posts.
still cool, we wanted to do that for 3speak we have a closed source version just need to tidy it up and open source it. But this is the way IMO, a way to unite all views would be cool, prob hard but maybe a frontend opt in
