Allow me to contact you one more time. And I will leave you then alone (since I sensed that you might be stressed).
In my former working life I was a professional working in the Public-Relations industry for about ten years. I have watched the above video closely. What this video does is that it produces riddles and questions.
You maybe not aware of the fact that there are institutions called "press agencies" who deliver daily news throughout all publications on a worldwide scale - maintaining offices in all countries. Newspapers pick up the tickers from these agencies and publish them often and mostly without questioning the contents and the sources themselves.
This video lets me think of the following questions:
How can newspapers up from the year 1915 and following continue with the exact same wording about holocausts all over Europe and in Russia?
how reliable is a source which uses "six million" (a quite impressive number, its tripple of the citizens of Hamburg) as a number in the year 1920 and again in the year 1930 and in between?
how is it possible that all these newspapers repeat the same messages about "holocaust, famine, disease" and the like before the second world war when holocaust is a term related to Hitlers regime and the Nazis concentration camps?
how can six million jews suffer from famine and disease in Europe and in Russia and the rest of the European and Russian population remain un-effected by it?
If six million Jews lived in both Europe and Russia and all suffered from famine and disease, were there 12 million Jews in total? And if not, how did these six million get from Europe to Russia? If this statement is true, shouldn't the newspapers in Europe (and Russia) have reported the same as the New York Times and others from abroad from the year 1915 until the year 1938? I have not looked that up. Actually not the "same" but more particular and more in detail.
These old newspaper-articles look astonishingly similar to todays habit of news spreading (this hints at press agencies). If something is being repeated throughout the media with the same wordings and numbers you have one detector for press-releases from the press agencies.
Properly working journalists and reporters always report much more personally and refer to their sources, local voices and institutions (for example: "The residents' registration office of the district in Berlin Brandenburg reported that 350 new refugees have been accommodated in a temporary camp. We spoke to the head of the police there, Walter S., who confirmed that ....." "Neighbours from Schillerstraße, which is opposite the camp, have formed an association to set up a soup kitchen for the refugees ... etc. ). However, these newspaper texts all seem to have been produced on a conveyor belt and do not appear to have had a chief of staff to check what was actually being disseminated.
Now, I see no reason to downvote this blog post (its not plagiarizing nor does it interfere with any etiquette). I find it highly irritating that it was downvoted. In fact, I was astonished that these newspaper contents were released in those times.
Did you follow the videos content?
Or did you only read the headline which states that "their six million never existed". This could be taken as offense but then I would say at least one needs to look at the content itself before you call it "hate".
I get the creeps not from the video but from people downvoting something which they seemingly have not looked into.
What I am interpreting here is that the figure of six million is being questioned (which implies much more through its sheer number).
The constant repetition of a figure over more than a decade in the most prestigious newspapers in the western world means that at some point this figure could have been accepted as a given. Such phenomena are by no means unknown and reports, data and figures that are processed by the media over and over again take on a life of their own.
In any case, that's how I learnt my profession. As a PR pro, you learn to repeat the same terms over and over again and to circulate them as widely as possible and never deviate from them. As the agency carrying out the work, we received precise guidelines from our client company and slavishly adhered to them (this is nothing new in advertising and marketing).
However, it's not important to me personally to research a correct figure. I think that the concentration camps existed and that Jews were murdered in them.
On another level, you can ask questions because other issues could be just as concerning as the six million figure of this video, which I see as representative of the use of propaganda techniques; so how it is being done. From this perspective, it can be important to watch above video.
I pointed out the manipulation techniques of the media. I am always sceptic when I read something in the media where emotions are being ignited through contents. Aroused feelings never get us near peace, I would say. Do you think otherwise?
Holocaust denial wil be downvoted.
