I sat down with Daniele Sestagalli of Utopia Genesis to chat about how they are bringing blockchain solutions to the music industry.
He does a great job of really outlining the problems that currently exist within the music industry in terms of helping both artists and record companies to maximize their impact and earnings by taking out the middlemen.
He then goes on to explain how Utopia is using blockchain tech to help bridge the gap with their wide array of data to help increase effienciecy in the music industry in a way that really helps benefit all parties involved.

We all know that the content monetisation model is broken, spotify and apple music have just taken what record labels have been doing for years, scaled it up and made profits, if songs can become NFT's that are owned or leased by users to enjoy the artist can get far better returns for their work.
However, I do think that the distribution becomes an issue, so artists will have to bank roll their own marketing which I don't see as a bad thing, that's the free market at work.
Is just hardwork but now You Will be pretty sure that not only are going to break a beautiful song to the world but also You Will get well balanced return for your passion, if You believe what youredoing You Will become the artist, Frank Zappa would be loved this moment of history
I’m sure plenty of musicians got shitty deals during these times where it’s your word against a companies! Let’s hope that IP can now be used more effectively in the future
Usually don't hear podcast on English because it's hard to me but today feeling tired of Saw the music Tag and found non well Made post or good content, i decides to give it a try to this podcast and it's worth, im on touch with all the concepts that Danielle talks here, on venezuela, this crypto solutions are the first plattform we could touch as artist, i mean, there was no previous plattform, radio and other plattforms where circle jerking for si many descades than they don't noticed it lol
Now with this information being wide spread, that depend on us, we're moving towards a Freedom that also means more effort, i love to see this perspective where i know i have to put the double on the table, with this tech would be worth.
