The subject of this poem is a vivid example of what can happen when someone steals. This poem shows the punishment that must be meted out for stealing. I am telling you two lines of the poem, listen to them. Through this video, I want to convey that stealing is punishable and stealing is a great sin, so we should never lie or steal. This is what our national poet, Kazi Nazrul Islam, wanted to convey through this poem.
