I want to welcome you to another week of Afri-tunes which is week 39 and for this week, I will be doing a cover of the song Aye Ole by Infinity. It is a gospel Yoruba song which I like so much. It came out when I was in secondary school and it helped me tbrough so many difficult periods. I felt like this song is needed this time more than ever as the world keeps getting more and more difficult to live in. There are lot of bad things happening around, the economy going doing the drain and it looks like it gets more worse as each year passes. This song is a song of assurance and encouragement that no matter how difficult the situation we are in are, God is with us. Life is not hard with him by our sides. As long as we belive, have faith and is patisnt, things will definitely fall into places..
The song was sang in Yoruba language which is my native language and for those that don't understand the language, the subtitle is beside each sentence below. I do hope you enjoy the song.

I'm so glad it brought back good memories. I can't sing the song too and not remember those times. The first time I heard Infinity was at the redemmed Holy Ghost Congress when they came to perform there for the first tine and just released Olori oko. Had to beg my grandma to buy their album. Their songs was just special and Aye Ole happened to be my favorite. It's a song I can never forget and will always stay with me.

You need to start learning it back. Yoruba is a beautiful language and quite easy to learn. It's pronunciation is straightforward and the writing and reading too. I can help if you're still interested. 🥰🥰

Don't mind me fa about posting in the wrong community. I usually write down the post the day before and post early in the morning. While posting, I was still half asleep and so I forgot to put in the community so it automatically went to threespeak. I noticed when I woke up fully. Awwww, yoruba is quite easy to learn. All you need is a good teacher. I can help if you're interested. It's my native language, I learn how to read and write in yoruba even before Emglish.
