I'm not satisfied.
The goove is weak. I practice with the metronone and my part sounds okay... then my and the drummer... and it's not okay.
Is it me... the highhat? I seems like somone is flexing their time to accomodate the bass or drum part. I've caught the horns following me and the drummer past measures. As in, a section of 10 measures get interpereted as 8 measures and nobody gets lost of complains. Lol, i've seen the director become aware of it and make a gas face. He looks at the band like they just they farted or something.

I'm currently using this recoridng to practice this song for a conert we have on Oct 21 2025.
It's smart to record rehearsals and performances. Going through all these steps and making elaborate videos and backgrounds blah blah blah is not necessary. Any recording, use a voice recorder, download the app, use GarageBand, download some stupid little app that lets you record audio quickly. Record it and then just as important listen to it later. Even if you want to do this it's easier said than done. Good luck, trust that it really helps. We lie, recordings and metronomes don't lie. We need that.
