Scream: The Voice-Killer?

This is another one of the ideas from @theycallmedan that he posted on Twitter. His concept is to make a frontend similar to Voice but without the KYC or facial recognition (oh sorry, selfie).

In this video I discuss how the tokeneconomics of Voice make sense and could be interesting to implement. Tied into Hive could create another path to eventually attract users.

    I'm confused

    I was led to believe that KYC was a foundational principal of Voice tokenomics.
    Therefore, taking away KYC would completely break the platform.

    All things are subject to change I guess.

    Maybe the response to KYC was too much for them and they gave in. Now they use so-called selfie verification.

    Who knows what is going on.

    Yeah...

    Well bot owners (or simply manual content farmers) are going to pay randoms pennies on the dollar to use their identity on Voice if that's a profitable business model. There's no way he's going to stop users from gaming the system. This entire model kind of assumes that everyone on the planet will immediately be known to the Voice platform and that's why it can't be gamed. No...

    Whatever I'm still curious about how it all turns out.

    KYC is not needed for the tokenomics to work for voice. It's PoB with gambling gamification. There is a burn every vote so bots can't really game.

    We would need to tweak the distribution because people can bot free tokens. However the mechanics of how it works can be transferred to stake based with the same use case that Voice tokens have.
