There will be some delegation but 10 HP doesnt allow one to do a lot.

If we expect the boon in users, who decides when they get a delegation, for how much and for how long. If there are like 100,000 users requesting more HP, is there enough HP left over to give users?

The problem I see is we are creating new accounts and giving them a small amount of HP to start. Active users will burn through the RCs fast and their recovery-rate will definitely not be able to keep up.

The key will be to take back the RC given to people who never use it. There are a lot who sign up and do nothing. If that HP could be recovered and then passed on to the active users, they would be able to participate more.

We will see how it all will unfold.

This is a difficult topic and it would be hard to find a good solution. e.g., when is one active/passive? how would this be done from a technical viewpoint: wouldn't the user's keys be necessary and if not, this could/will be used for exploitation etc.

If we don't know now if Hive can scale or adopt so many new users then we are probably going to fail when the time comes. I hope somebody is thinking about this problem

Delegation do not require the users keys.

It is up to the one delegating to make the decision to pull it back or not; not the user.
