Mixing the concepts of manual curation and trail votes makes no sense to me.
It can be either one... or the other.
You have clearly misunderstood the idea of curation, like it was intended at Steem's conception.
But hey, at least you are getting closer to what this place was designed for.
You clearly didn't read the post; I have turned off the curation trails (it was 50/50 manual & trails) and am doing it all manually now.
I have no time to read long posts.
