Great idea Kenny, it has been so disheartening to see such important content getting downvoted.
With regards to new people, I suggest @montycashmusic, @samstonehill and @kaliphae who create content that aligns with the Tribes 8 Pillars. They are the 3 that come to mind right now.

First, nice to meet you, I really had no idea that you were behind the @abundance.tribe account although I've been publishing there from time to time. I gave your account a follow as I love your positive vibe in the video :)
Second, I think this is a great approach because this way you can keep supporting content that fits the pillars of the community. I had no idea that some whales are trying to downvote the accounts that are having another opinion /view on this world, that project from @r0nd0n is probably very welcome to counter-vote that.
Although I've been creating a lot of content in the past week, I haven't shown my face in the abundance tribe community yet (last week that is). Will work on that today :)

I look through a variety of communities, and the feeds of other users, mostly. There aren't any specific tags that I check at this point.

I will be doing manual voting whenever I get on Hive. There's no place to send anything, and anyone who sends me links will definitely be ignored :-)

Ya, it's gotten crazy here, with the pandemic being so much more polarized than really any topic was before.
So far seems to be taking me just a couple hours a day to get through it all, including the curation on the gaming side for @monster-curator. I scan through communities, and then the feeds of various accounts, to find what I need.
By focusing the AT vote differently, I think I'm really able to give out a lot more rewards overall - because I'm timing the VP usage.
@kennyskitchen First of all - Hats' off to you. I admire the way you have clearly stated your mission including the 8 pillars. Secondly, I admire the way you are now trying to support the victims of some political downvotes. I have somehow been targeted by couple of them since spaminator flagged my posts though they are completely original content. Apparently it was to draw my attention to the fact that my account was compromised. Anyway - that is sorted now.
What I admired most was pillar 5 and 6. Being a passionate wildlife photographer, it has always been my endeavor to spread awareness about wildlife through my posts which include some nice pictures taken by me (unusual shots usually), coupled with a life philosophy or musings. I believe this helps spread awareness. In real life, my creating awareness about birds has helped to save a few of them. I have even created awareness about spiders.
Anyway - Great work is being done by you. If I can support the effort in any way, I would be honored to do so if given a chance. I am very new to HIVE though I was on Steemit long back. So - am still learning about communities. When Abundance tribe was formed, I was on a Hiatus from all social media due to a personal tragedy and missed out a chance to become a part.

I think our next HIVE hurdle will be finding the best ways to better curate content, both to counter malicious whales and ensure spam/plagiarism goes unrewarded. The recent price spike pretty much guarantees the latter will balloon, too.
It seems like the folks with the big stake are more invested in shifting Hive away from being a content platform - at least in terms of how the inflation rate is distributed.

Every time I try, they end up doing nothing and I have to fire them a couple weeks later. I've tried multiple times over the last year especially.

also, i have to say im very happy to see you will counteract these downvotes on posts that go against the mainstream,, esp regarding vaxxx.. I was going to post more about the vaxx and then realised this downvoting is happening.. and sadly felt i didnt want to end my hive life to do it... VERY surprised it is even happening to be honest.. and sad too .. WTF!
Hey, I really think that is they way going forward. Manual curation is much better than auto-votes. Yes it costs time, but with some organization manageable.
I am still waiting for my new bot but should be available next week. Then I will start working on the second bot I told you about and by the end of the year we have something incredibly powerful. Earlier already, if we just make good use of bot No1. ;-)
Thanks for all the support over the years, Kenny! TSU/AT has basically been the filter through which I interact with both Steem and Peakd over the years. I'm pretty amazed at what has been built here on Peakd and the Hive blockchain since its inception. I finally dove a little bit deeper into Peakd and all its communities yesterday, and I see so much opportunity. I love the addition of the communities because it feels like reddit, and I spend a lot of time on reddit. :) The communities invite a lot more room for content and engagement I think. I think I'll probably be spending more time around here with all the exciting expansion I've seen. I also found some people writing about some of my favorite topics. You look well and happy! Glad to see it, brother. Is the abundance tribe discord chat still a thing? I went to find it yesterday and couldn't find it, and I was bewildered because like I said it's how I've been communicating with Peakd since I came over here. 😁
I love that you're using your Hive power with greater discernment. Good call!! And although there's been great certainty from the steady regular tribe vote, it probably hasn't called us out to be our best posting selves in a way that makes a difference in this world. Good morning, Kenny! After reading this post, I felt compelled to reach out to you. Your eight pillars are how I have aligned my life, practically to the tee.
I have recently gone completely off grid, it has been close to one year now. We create our own electricity, grow our own food, compost, and practice sustainable waste management. My goal is to be self-sufficient, sustainable, and independent.
Not sure if you have heard of the term Agorism, which I am pretty sure you have because your 8 pillars align pretty well with the Non Aggression Principal. My buddy and I run a podcast, Off Grid Agorist, where we have been teaching others how to homestead and also separate themselves from the State.
I have been working super hard on getting the message of living off the grid and Agorism for several years now, mainly through two websites, www.maximumoffgid.com and www.offgridagorist.com. I have also been posting here on HIVE throughout the years, although I have fallen off recently.
I am currently working on posting here on a regular schedule. My username here on HIVE is @queenmountain and I have been around since the good ol' days of Steemit. Sheesh, I think I have been around for maybe 5 years now? Lots of changes over the years, wow.
Anyway, my point is that I am asking if you would like to check out my content and consider my account for your curation list.
My plan is to get back on a regular posting track here on HIVE, getting more engaged with the community, and bring some really good content to help get the message out that we can live another way than bowing down to the ultra-tyrannical govt enslavement program.

Awesome Kenny, well done for your sterling effort and kindness. I really resonate with your 8 pillars, especially seeing all people and also animals and the earth as an end in themselves and not a means to an end. In other words to give them respect and rights, not exploit them for our selfish ends or objectify them.
I like the fact that you used a Video to pass the message across. I've been wondering how we would be able to promote Vlogging here if there is no good to support such contents.

Well, this account of mind is mostly for vlogging. I'm new to it. Heheh. Just started two weeks ago, but I want to develop the skill. I also want to curate video contents, interact with bloggers on Hive and make them feel glad that someone saw their content. I barely have a reasonable VP for that so, no whining from me 😂.
GoodLuck on this method of Curation. Would be alot of work for you, but Yeah, it's a reasonable strategy.
Oh ya, vlogging does very well on Hive, I've found.
Personally, I do my main uploading to the lbry blockchain via Odysee.com, and then to 3speak as well, then edit the Hive post to be a bit cleaner and less 3speak-branded :-)
I used dtube back in the day, youtube before that, and so on. Create a decent-looking blog post, that has the video in it, and you'll do well. It's the folks who just post a video with no real description or anything who tend to get flak :-P
So far it seems to be taking me ~2 extra hours per day.
Ok... this is a tip which I can work with especially that aspect of adding more description in addition to the uploaded video.

You have clearly misunderstood the idea of curation, like it was intended at Steem's conception.
But hey, at least you are getting closer to what this place was designed for.
You clearly didn't read the post; I have turned off the curation trails (it was 50/50 manual & trails) and am doing it all manually now.

Wow...I stepped in here at hive a few weeks ago to just check it out as a platform to blog upon moving forward. I am brim full of words as I am ready to talk about my walk. Yet I am overwhelmed. I am seeking a conversation about how to catch up with these changes and how to best manage my energy while broadcasting my voice and message. How are folks chatting with each other these days? How can I access this? Is someone willing to mentor my getting back up to speed?
