The Word of God allows us to develop faith and this prepares us for the good fight faith faith.
Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with sword and spear and javelin; but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have provoked. 46 Today the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will defeat you, and I will cut off your head, and I will give today the carcasses of the Philistines to the birds of the air and to the beasts of the earth; and all the earth will know that there is God in Israel. 47 And all this congregation will know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will deliver you into our hands.

The Goliath of the Bible in our lives can be in multiple forms, for example: a complicated and unhappy job, a complicated relationship or being immersed in many debts, for example. In the text, what David had faced seemed insurmountable and impossible under human eyes, yet he was victorious!
David contemplated his victory long before even facing Goliath since his trust was not placed in his ability, his trust was placed in God thanks to his relationship and experience with the Lord, David had certainty and security in the name of God, His job was to shepherd the sheep and he spent time contemplating God in his intimacy, his confidence was such that nothing and no one could move him, no one could move him from his convictions about who God is.
David developed such a solid relationship with God that we can see the result, his practical habits led him to trust more and more. He had the faithful conviction that he is a beloved son having access to the full power of God, God's faithfulness in keeping David is the same that applies to us today.
That is why we need these habits of faith, we need to dedicate time to God, let us remember the battles and victories obtained, let us trust in the sufficiency of God, no matter what is presented as an obstacle or difficulty.

La Palabra de Dios nos permite desarrollar la fe y esto nos prepara para la buena batalla fe la fe.
Entonces dijo David al filisteo: Tú vienes a mí con espada y lanza y jabalina; mas yo vengo a ti en el nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, el Dios de los escuadrones de Israel, a quien tú has provocado. 46 Jehová te entregará hoy en mi mano, y yo te venceré, y te cortaré la cabeza, y daré hoy los cuerpos de los filisteos a las aves del cielo y a las bestias de la tierra; y toda la tierra sabrá que hay Dios en Israel. 47 Y sabrá toda esta congregación que Jehová no salva con espada y con lanza; porque de Jehová es la batalla, y él os entregará en nuestras manos.

El Goliat de la biblia en nuestras vidas puede ser de múltiples formas, por ejemplo: un trabajo complicado e infeliz, una relación complicada o estar sumergido en muchas deudas por ejemplo. En el texto, lo que David había enfrentado parecía insuperable e imposible bajo la vista humana, sin embargo resultó victorioso!.
David contempló su victoria mucho antes de siquiera enfrentarse a Goliat ya que su confianza no estaba puesta en su capacidad, su confianza estaba puesta en Dios gracias a su relación y experiencia con el señor, David tenía certeza y seguridad en el nombre de Dios, Su trabajo era pastorear las ovejas y pasaba tiempo contemplando a Dios en su intimidad, su confianza era tal que nada ni nadie podría conmoverlo, nadie podría moverlo de sus convicciones acerca de quien es Dios.
David desarrolló una relación tan sólida con Dios que podemos ver el resultado, sus hábitos prácticos lo llevaban a confiar mas y mas. Tenía la fiel convicción que es un hijo amado teniendo acceso a total poder de Dios, la fidelidad de Dios en guardar a David es la misma que hoy se aplica a nosotros.
Por ello necesitamos estos hábitos de fe, necesitamos dediscar tiempo a Dios, recordemos las batallas y las victorias obtenidas, confiemos en la suficiencia de Dios, sin importar lo que se presente como obstáculo o dificultad.
