JESUS CHRIST: THE SAVIOUR OF MANKIND

Jesus Christ: The Saviour of Mankind

Jesus Christ is the son of the living God, and the head of the church of God. He is the first born among brethren. In Christian faith, Jesus is the savior of mankind, who came to earth to offer humanity salvation and eternal life.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in the region of Judea, to Mary, a virgin, and Joseph, a carpenter. He was born around 4 BC, during the reign of King Herod the Great. The birth of Jesus is celebrated by Christians around the world on Christmas Day.

As a young man, Jesus began his ministry, traveling throughout Judea and Galilee, teaching about God and performing miracles, such as healing the sick and casting out demons. He gathered a group of followers, including his 12 apostles, who would go on to spread his teachings and establish the Christian Church.

One of the central teachings of Jesus was the idea of love and compassion for others. He taught that people should love their neighbors as themselves and turn the other cheek when faced with aggression or injustice. He also emphasized the importance of forgiveness, saying that those who are forgiven much, love much.

Jesus's ministry and teachings were seen as a threat by the ruling authorities of the time, and he was eventually arrested and brought to trial. He was crucified by the Roman authorities, a punishment reserved for the most heinous crimes. However, Christians believe that Jesus's death on the cross was a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, and that through his death and resurrection, he conquered death and offered salvation to all who believe in him.

The belief in Jesus as the savior of mankind is central to the Christian faith. Christians believe that through faith in Jesus, they can have eternal life and be reconciled with God. The teachings of Jesus, as recorded in the Bible, continue to inspire and guide Christians today, and his life and message have had a profound impact on the world.

Why we should not allow the sacrifice of Jesus Christ to be in vain

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, also known as the atonement, is a central belief in Christianity. It is the belief that Jesus willingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of humanity, so that those who believe in him and accept his sacrifice can have eternal life. The idea of the atonement is based on the belief that God is holy and just, and that sin separates us from God. Because we are all sinful, we cannot be reconciled to God on our own. Instead, we need a savior to bridge the gap between us and God. This is where Jesus comes in.

There are several reasons why we should not allow the sacrifice of Jesus to be in vain. Here are a few:

1 Jesus willingly suffered and died for us. Jesus knew what he was getting himself into when he agreed to become the sacrifice for humanity. He willingly suffered and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. It would be a great injustice to allow his sacrifice to be in vain.

2 The atonement is the basis of our salvation. The atonement is what allows us to be reconciled to God and to have eternal life. Without it, we would be separated from God forever.

3 The death of Christ on the cross shows us the depth of God's love for us. The fact that God was willing to send his own son to suffer and die for us shows us just how much he loves us. This should inspire us to love and serve God in return.

4 The atonement gives us hope. The idea that we can be forgiven for our sins and have a new start through Jesus gives us hope and a sense of purpose.

We should not allow the sacrifice of Jesus to be in vain because it was a willing act of love and the basis of our salvation. It shows us the depth of God's love for us and gives us hope. We should strive to live in a way that honors and acknowledges the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.

Happy Sunday Lovelies!

You expose various conclusions that always come to the same thing: to follow Jesus The Christ, because of his human sacrifice as "Lamb of God" who takes away the sin of the world, to rise again overcoming death, which is his part as a man of the Divine Grace granted by the Almighty, his Father, the Eternal God Creator of Heaven and Earth.
That's all, we just have to be guided by His Holy Word so that our faith may come to reach the "mustard seed" as Jesus Himself suggested.....
Greetings @gracybae may Jesus continue to bless you with His infinite mercy. Amen!
