Those who hear the word of God will do the will of God.
Romans 10:17 So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
We should listen to the teaching of Christ if we want to obey the commandment of God.
1Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
If we consider Jesus Christ as our teacher, we will be able to do His will or the will of God.
Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a sin to obey the commandment of men and the doctrines of men. We should becareful about people who teach evil doctrines.
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.
Christians should teach what we have been commanded by Christ.
Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 1:18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.
We should accept the teachings and the doctrines of Christ. If it is no written in the scriptures, we should not accept.
1Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.
First doctrine of Christ is BAPTISM.
The first commandment that God told Paul was BAPTISM. We have to examine ourselves before we baptised
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Act 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
When you received the word of God, the first thing we need to do is BAPTISM.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls.
Church was built for people to join in the bible.
Ephesians 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
Who is the head of the body and the church?
Answer: Jesus Christ.
Colossian 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
He that does not accept the doctrines and the true teachings of Christ would be condemned. Being an obedience to the commandment of God, doing the will of God means you love Christ.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
Romans 12:9 [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
How can you build a church and reject Christ who is the head. Church is an entity or institution which belongs to God or Christ. Therefore CHURCH is the spiritual body of Christ.
Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Church was built to for eternal purpose.
Upon this rock i will build my Church.
We must be part of that body
We must be members of the body.
Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Church is an important institution for Christ.
Jesus built the church of God with His own blood.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
