I am so blessed to share with you what I learnt during the Bible exposition as Bro Eli answers question with the bible to help believer understand what the bible really says.
OUR TRUST SHOULD BE IN GOD
It is good to learn the bible, for out of our studies we gain the certainity to trust in God.
For Noah trusted God ,therefore He was able to live for six hundred years.
WE ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO BOW BEFORE ANY IMAGE EXCEPT ONLY GOD.
We are not suppose to worship any image curved by man for it is an abomination unto God.There are so many images represent God ,Saints which some church bow and pray to.I learnt that God does not require us to do that.
Leviticus 26:1
You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.
Deu 4 :16 -19
Beware lest you act corruptly by making a carved image for yourselves, in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female, the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air, the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water under the earth. And beware lest you raise your eyes to heaven, and when you see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, you be drawn away and bow down to them and serve them, things that the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO SERVE GOD IN OUR YOUTHFUL STAGE
I learnt that know matter our we are pressurized by our friends in our youthful stage we are to know God.
Ecclesiastes 12:1
Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;
It is in our youthful stage we gain the energy to move with the word of God.
In our youthful stage we sin because of our ignorance in the word of God.Our flesh is the weakness but Brother Eli explained that out of all this we should repent and be saved.
Act 20 :31
Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears
WHAT IS THE TRUE DAY OF WORSHIP
I learnt that we can worship God on any day of our choice.
Acts 2 :46
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart
God require us to study His word so that we are not trapped by this false teachers.
