Thanking God for his words that has been taught through the mouth of his servant brother Eli. Also praying that God should give us understanding in the name of Jesus, Amen.
FAITH
Hebrew 11:1, I learnt that faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. As believer's, we are hoping for the coming back of our lord Jesus, for the ressurection of the dead and the judgment day. Talking about the evidence of things not seen, God almighty is the first example. Our God is invisible yet we believe in him. We believe in God because we can clearly see the evidence from the creation and his good works of the universe. John 20:25_29, Thomas believed because he saw the evidence. Christ said, blessed are they who didn't see but believe. Romans 1: 20, We see the evidence of God from the things he made. The bible says, the invisible things from the creation are clearly seen. Psalms 19:I, the heavens declare the glory of God and the filament of the Handy work of his hand. In **Psalms 19:6, I understood that physical things has limit. According to the bible, there are ends of the heavens. What seems to be endless for us has an end to God.
Genesis 18:12_14. Sarah laughed because she knew her body was weak to conceive a child. Sarah had a son and believed in God. She didn't see God but believe because of the evidence of the son. The same is the case of Elizabeth. Abraham believed in God because he knows that God can not lie. Hebrew 11:8, by faith Abraham left his home to the place God directed him.
I learnt that people already believed in God before the Atheist. Their beliefs has been transferred from generation. Abraham to his sons, to Christ down to his appostles. Faith is not stupid because it exist just like love. Most people on earth believe in God because it is proven that God exist. We believe in God because we have seen clearly his works. 1 Corinthians 1:9, I learnt that God is faithful and he is a believer. We were also taught not to show partiality because Christ does not show same. Acts 10:34 Christ does not show partiality, the same like God. John 5:19, Christ does the same thing like God. We were encouraged to have faith in Christ. Romans 1: 17, I learnt that faith comes from God, from the statement faith to faith. That is faith of God to that of the people of God.
In conclusion, **James 1:27, the bible says, every good and perfect gift comes from God. Faith is one of the good and perfect gift. So we pray that God should endow us with the gift of faith. Amen.
