I'm delighted to join the zoom meeting once again, network had been my problem for a very long time but I appreciate God almighty for the privilege to partake of his blessings with the brethren today.
Important Point i Learnt From The Teaching.
STuDy ON THE DOCTRINES OF CHRIST
From the teachings by brother Eli I learnt that the church is the body while Jesus christ is the head of the church.
Galatians 1:13-15
I also learnt that the word Ekkklesia
Means called out.
And being called out means called out to do the work and follow the doctrines of our lord Jesus Christ,just like how Paul was called out from Judaism which has another doctrine to follow the doctrines of Christ and he became an apostle of God.
Even also members of the first church who where the witness of Christ were all called out.
2 Corinthians 1:1, Ephesians 4:4
All the early Christian came from the Greek and they were the Apostles of Christ that his called out, they were giving one spirit and they have one Body which is the body of Christ and the purpose of their calling was same.
1 Corinthians 11:16, 1 Timo 3:5
Members of the church are not contentious because they have one body and one spirit and Christain are to learn how to rule their houses for it's a requirement and a commandments for Christians to do so because a man that don't know how to rule his house will not be able to rule the church and as a christian we are expected to put on characters worthy of emulation in the house of God.
John 17:11
The name of God is the name that is more powerful than other name is a strong tower 🗼 that the righteous run into and get save, Jesus Christ ask his father God to keep the church in his name so that they may have one spirit and one body just like they are in heaven.
For us to have one body and one spirit we are to study the word of God in the church of God which is the pillar and the truth.
by doing so we will be able to know the right doctrines to follow for many fakes witness lives among the brethren.
Proverbs 22:1
A good name is rather to be choosing than riches and it the name of God that is good, we are to choose God rather than choosing the church of God and when we choose God we join the church and live according to the doctrines of Christ.
Joining the Church is a commandment of God, and by not accepting God's word or doctrines you are equally rejecting God and the church because the Church is meant to be an institution of salvation reason why we must be a member of the Church.
As a christian that believe in God we are not to choose any other God other than God the creator, just like the people that practice Buddhism is not write for a Christian to do so because Buddha can not save human niether can he save his self reason why he die of eating poisonous mushroom 🍄 we are not to serve Buddha because he is not a creator and he has no power in him.
James 3:7
Even the worship of animals by the hinduism is prohibited for christains because God gave me power over all animals and they can be tammed by Man, humans are higher in all God creatures we belong to the higher class of animals reason why we have the power to temmed animal so on that note we are not to worship animals.
Act 20:28
Christ purchase the church with his blood reasons why christains are not allowed to eat blood.
Christians are to feed the church of God also we learn to follow the doctrines in the bible and not the rules that was invented by man.
One of the doctrines of Christ is joining the church and joining can not save you else the join the church and accept Christ as your personal lord and savior also accepting to follow other doctrines.
John 12:48, Ephesians 3:6
It's by the doctrine that we can join the church and by rejecting God's word is same as rejecting God because it's the word of God that has the doctrines of Christ and when you reject the word the doctrines will be use to judge you before God when the trumpets shall sound.
It's only those doing the righteousness of God that God will accept.
Old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?
A lots of things was improve by listening to the zoom meeting, like getting to know that humans are higher than animals just like I use to be afriad of Some animals like dog 🐕 and some other animals but now I no that I have the power to temmed them and I'm not not worship nor be afriad of them.
How the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?
The study can make us a better by listening and following strictly the doctrines of Christ also avoid friends that had different doctrines from the Christ doctrines, we are to make our self available for God uses also learn to put our house in other to enable us put the house of God in other because a woman that cheats on the husband or a husband that is not faithful to his wife can not be faithful to God, lastly we are to feed the house of God by paying our tithes and offerings and by puring water in the hand of God's servants.
