Summary of what I learnt from the teachings of bro Eli soriano

I learnt that a prayer is a request or petition and a prayer has context according to the Bible
Philippians 4 vs 6

I learnt that we should not use vain repeatition words and we should pray for what we need at that time, just like the apostles of Jesus Christ did. The apostles prayed for a replacement after judas killed himself, and they selected a replacement to complete 12 just as they represent the 12 tribes of Israel
Acts 1 vs 24-26

I learnt that it is important to give Thanksgiving after praying because it is the doctrine of Christ and believing your request has been granted
Mark 11 vs 24

I learnt that it is right to pray and give Thanksgiving before eating, just as Christ and he's apostles did
1 Timothy 4 vs 4-5

I learnt that we should pray always wether in difficulty or in comfort, we should pray day and night and pray without season
Luke 18 vs 1-7, 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 17

I learnt that prayer should be simple, concise and precise, that is making your words few when praying and it is important to note that using vain repeatition when praying is prohibited
Ecclesiastes 5 vs 2, Matthew 6 vs 7-8

I learnt that God does not listen to the prayer of wicked and evil heart, but God listens to the prayer of a man with pure heart
Proverbs 15 vs 8, John 9 vs 31

I learnt that the heart of men are desperately wicked and God checks the heart of men and reward every man, so when a man pray with evil in he's heart God does not listen
Jeremiah 17 vs 9

I learnt that anyone praying should depart from wickedness, iniquity, womanizing, gambling
2 Timothy 2 vs 19, Galatians 5 vs 19-21

I learnt that the word of God can cleanse our hearts, so the word of God should dwell in our hearts
John 15 vs 3, Psalms 119 vs 11

I learnt that purification of our hearts is obedience
1 Peter 1 vs 22

I learnt that if we humble ourselves and pray in he's name, leave evil works, God is willing to hear us, but we must purify our heart before we pray
2 Corinthians 7 vs 14

HOW THE ZOOM HAS AFFECTED OUR DAILY LIVES

1. Praying to the father with pure heart
2. Using no vain repeatative words
3. Giving Thanksgiving after praying
4. Praying before eating and giving thanks to God
5. Prayer should be brief, simple, concise and precise
6. Always praying without season
7. Avoid and depart from evil works
8. Purification of heart before praying
