I got my love for Hoya after cacti and orchids.
But better later than never!
Many of you know that I recently returned from vacation.
My friend, with whom I was staying, told me when there would be an exhibition and sale of flowers.
And I managed to buy tickets for these numbers.
I will show you a photo of this exhibition another time.
And now I will show you the pictures of the two little Hoyas that I bought.
The first Hoya is Hoya multiflora
As the seller told me, Hoya multiflora is one of the most undemanding species.
But she is afraid of direct sunlight.
She can also bloom at any time of the year and that with experience the process of its flowering can be regulated.
This is amazing to me.
To give an impetus to flowering, you need to slightly reduce watering and not fertilize it.
You need to observe this regime for about a month.
A photo of her flowering, which I took from a photo of the seller
The photos I were taken with a Lenovo TAB 2 A10-70L tablet
And this is my Hoya multiflora
This is my second Hoya cv. Mathilde splash, as you can see both of my Hoys flew safely.
She has small oval leaves: 3 cm long and 2 cm wide.
It can also be grown as an ampelous plant.
In summer, the best temperature for her is from 20 to 25 ° C.
But I will hope that she can acclimatize to the summer temperatures of Cyprus.
And this photo of bloom is taken from the seller's photo
And these 3 Hoyes I got from @ewkaw, thanks again!
I want to ask: what kind of "Mustache" released Hoya?
@mipiano you wanted to see my Hoys
And this baby does not want to grow up, sits in a pot and waits for something! ❤️ 😂
Wow they are growing so well!! I forgot to ask how they are doing. So glad to see them so big.
Those are two types though. One with the darker, spotted leaves and the second one has the variegated leaves.
The first one never bloomed for me. The second one blooms very often and smells like cocoa :) Hope they bloom for you soon!
Very cool flowers on the first one!
I hope that mine will bloom soon!
Hoya, as in the first photo, I have been looking for for a long time, but I could not find her.
And I was very happy to see her at the exhibition, unfortunately she was alone, otherwise I would have bought more.
There were several Hoya on sale, but most are winter-hardy, and they are not suitable for Cyprus :-(
Thank you Ludmila for not forgetting me :)) yay, more flowers in your home! I hope Matilda will bloom , I like the flowers of that one!
The baby one, was waiting for you to come back from vacation, so it will grow now :))
With pleasure!
I also hope that the baby will stop being capricious :-)
I also brought the bulbs of daffodils, lilies and some more :-)
I have already planted them, then I will show them.
Hope that the bulbs will do great 💮
Haha, capricious baby 😁
Thanks!
I agree with you :-)
