I really am spending a lot of time these days digging for new inspirational music in my life. I have already acquired a lot over the decades, but opening myself to add to the treasure chest of music medicine is such a powerful action. It's intensive therapy in these difficult times that seem to be constantly knocking on the door of our beautiful mountain home as well as the door of so many conscious humans around the world.
Coming back to my roots in reggae music has a 100% success rate throughout my life when things are the hardest. It's so hard to turn off the internal dialogue, but when I choose to fill my ears with irie vibrations I am able to:
I have discovered a song by Chronixx I had not heard before, called Safe N Sound. I am uplifted by his lyrics and his solid efforts to bring love to the ghettos of Jamaica. The message gives me SO much respect for this beautiful brother and his path of righteousness. He really puts a lot into reaching out to the disgruntled, misguided youth who have been lied to, abused, and led astray by so many different charlatans offering sickness, violence, and poison disguised as help. He sees the way things are in his home, and he is standing tall to make things better.
