We are now entering autumn, or spring if you are reading this from the southern hemisphere, and we are starting to get out our warm clothes to face the months ahead. From the warmth of my desk, I'm diving into another week of writing a review and analysis of another card from the Splinterlands universe. I'm returning to the usual format. Last week, I analysed a powerful card from my rival, but this week I'm back to analysing one of my own cards. What's more, it's one that you're going to like and want to add to your roster as soon as possible. That said, I'll tell you in advance that it's a veteran card with power directly proportional to the time it's been with us in the game. So make yourself comfortable, get ready to read and, I hope, learn the characteristics of a legendary card from the death deck. Let's do this.
Hola a todos una semana más. Nos adentramos ya en otoño, primavera si me lees desde el hemisferio sur, y empezamos a sacar la ropa de abrigo para afrontar estos meses que se nos vienen encima. En el calor de mi escritorio me lanzo otra semana a escribir una reseña y análisis sobre otra de las cartas que tenemos en el universo Splinterlands. Vuelvo al formato habitual. Si la semana pasada analizaba una poderosa carta de mi rival, esta semana vuelvo al análisis de una carta propia. Una, además, que te va a gustar y que vas a querer añadir a tu roster cuando antes. Eso si, ya te avanzo que es una carta veterana y con un poder directamente proporcional al tiempo que lleva entre nosotros en el juego. Así que ponte cómodo, prepárate a leer y a, espero, aprender las características de una carta legendaria del mazo de muerte. vamos a por ello.
This Tuesday, I had an interesting battle in which I had the opportunity to use my death deck under favourable conditions. As you know, it's not one of my most advanced decks, but, as I said, the conditions were good for trying out certain things, and that's where this analysis comes from. The card I'm analysing this week is the legendary Cthulhu, a veteran card on the battlefield. Yes, it's quite likely that the name brings Lovecraft to mind, but our Cthulhu comes from the one known as Azmare Dice. It is a creature that has suffered captivity in a dungeon of shadows with the inner turmoil of not being able to protect the people of Kulu while they were being massacred by the troops of Chaos. The discovery of this prison by an intrepid adventurer freed the God of the Kulu, and the Splinterlands universe changed forever.
Este martes he tenido una interesante batalla en la que tuve la oportunidad de utilizar con buenas condiciones mi mazo de muerte. Ya sabes que no es uno de los que tengo evolucionado pero, como te decía, las condiciones eran buenas para probar ciertas cosas y de ahí sale este análisis. La carta en cuestión que analizo esta semana es la legendaria Cthulhu, una carta ya veterana en el campo de batalla. Si, es bastante probable que el nombre de lleve directamente a la cabeza a Lovecraft pero nuestra Cthulhu sale del conocido como Azmare Dice. Es una criatura que ha sufrido el cautiverio en una mazmorra de sombras con la tempestad interior que supone no ser capaz de proteger a la gente de Kulu mientras estaban siendo masacradas por las tropas del Chaos. El descubrimiento de esta carcel por un intrépido aventurero líbero al Dios de los Kulu y el universo Splinterlands cambió para siempre.
His abilities will quickly make it clear that she is not a card to be used in every situation that arises. With a summoning cost of no less than 11 mana points, she will only be useful in battles with a high level of mana available. His base abilities are three magic attack points, 12 vitality points and, of course, a single vitality point. These numbers will only improve her vitality by one point. In return, her special abilities will be remarkable. She has Cripple and Flying as base abilities, making her even more difficult to defeat. At the second level of evolution, she gains Stun, at the third level Weaken, and finally, at the fourth level, she will obtain Last Stand. In short, an absolute abuse of both basic stats and special abilities for an essential card.
Sus habilidades ya te van a dejar claro que no es una carta para usar en todas las situaciones que se vayan planteando. Tener un coste de invocación de nada menos que 11 puntos de maná hace que solo nos vaya a ser de utilidad en combates con un alto nivel de maná disponible. Eso si, no vas a tener dudas de incluirla en la alineación en esa condición. Sus habilidades base son tres puntos de ataque mágico, 12 puntos de vitalidad y, eso sí, un único punto de vitalidad. Estos números solo van a mejorar en un punto su vitalidad. A cambio, sus habilidades especiales si van a ser notables. De base cuenta con Cripple y con Flying haciendo que sea aún más dificil acabar con ella.. En el segundo nivel de evolución gana Stun, en el tercero Weaken y, finalmente, en el cuarto va a obtener Last Stand. Vamos, un absoluto abuso de estadísticas tanto básicas como de habilidades especiales para una carta imprescindible.
The battle in which you will be able to see Cthulhu in all his glory is the one I am sharing with you below. The opponent who will suffer his power is Jovialrania, and it will be none other than 69 summoning mana points. Ideal for putting together an interesting strategy with Cthulhu. The battle conditions will be Equaliser, Wands Out, and also Aimless. In combat, a death deck will face off against a life deck, with some legendary cards to consider as well. La batalla en la que vas a poder ver a Cthulhu en todo si esplendor es esta que te comparto a continuación. El rival que va a sufrir su poder es jovialrania y va a ser una con nada menos que 69 puntos de maná de invoación. Ideal para cuadrar una interesante estrategia con Cthulhu. Como condiciones de batalla vamos a tener a Equalizer, Wands Out y, también, Aimless. En combate se van a medir un mazo de muerte contra uno de vida con alguna carta legendaria también a tener en cuenta. No dejes de dar un vistazo al desarrollo de la batalla que está divertida.
What do you think of everything Cthulhu has to offer on the battlefield? You've probably wondered why she's not on your roster yet, if she isn't already, of course. The combination of her basic abilities with three damage points per round and extremely high vitality make her a card to be reckoned with. Of course, her summoning cost limits her use to battles with a lot of mana available, as is the case here, but you will also have come to the conclusion that it is worth spending those 11 points in exchange for everything she has to offer. What's more, her special abilities make her even more fearsome and powerful. That said, I've only been able to show you her level 1 abilities, which is the copy I have among my cards. And she already does enough damage for me to consider upgrading her to level 2. That will be a goal, if all goes well, for the future, and not exactly the near future. ¿Qué te ha parecido todo lo que ofrece Cthulhu en el campo de batalla? Seguro que te has planteado los motivos por los que no está en tu roster aún, si es que no lo está, claro. La mezcla de sus habilidades básicas con tres puntos de daño por ronda y una vitalidad altísima la convierten en una carta a tener en cuenta. Eso sí, su coste de invocación nos limita su uso a batallas con mucho maná disponible como es el caso, pero también habrás llegado a la conclusión de que merece la pena gastar esos 11 puntos a cambio de todo lo que nos ofrece. Además, sus habilidades especiales la hacen aún más temible y poderosa. Eso si, solo te he podido mostrar sus habilidades a nivel 1 que es la copia que tengo entre mis cartas. Y bastante daño hace ya como para plantearme ascenderla a nivel 2. Ese será un objetivo, si todo va bien, para el futuro y no precisamente cercano. Resumiendo, carta que necesitas tener en tu roster.
