Wow, it's been a while ... and now it's a new year already!
Happy 2022 everyone!
I didn't have the resources to sit down and write or read here on Hive lately.
Life was like life is sometimes and had different things in mind for me than I thought ^^
But I miss it!
And I hope I can manage to get back into hiving again from time to time now that I got used to the new situation.
A lot happened the last weeks, there's so much to tell and I really don't know where to start. So I won't even try today (also writing long texts on the phone is a bit annoying) and work my way through all the stories in the next weeks.
For today just a little unstructured overview to at least start somewhere ^^
We're in the South of Greece now, unfortunately the house-sitting job on Corfu Island got cancelled last minute, so we're still travelling in the van.
The weather is sunny and mild here most of the time, so we're not too cold even at night.
We've been in a lot of cities, playing music on the streets, which is super fun and probably the best job I've ever had! So this is how I'm gonna keep myself busy during the winter until it's warm enough to move North again, probably back to Albania :)
Actually I've had a bit of a hard time getting used to being in EU-territory again and I still don't like it very much to be honest ^^
But I won't complain about that (at least not today) because Greece also is a beautiful country, nature is amazing and the people here have been very good to us so far.
Alright, this is it for today. My hands are tired of holding the phone, so I'm gonna stop for now (I should go look for a Bluetooth keyboard somewhere).
I know it's not the best post ever, but I'm happy I did manage to at least write something ^^

These clouds in the first pic! Oh my god, if that rain/thunder/storm breaks loose, do you feel ok in a van on a beach? I'd probably feel scared a bit :)

Yes, it was a bit frustrating at first, I was really looking forward to spending the winter in a heated house with a stable power supply and making art again.
But this way we were able to pursue the street music thing further, which is going very well. So I'm fine with it :)
It was quite windy that day, but no thunderstorm. I actually like being at the beach on rough weather. It has a very unique atmosphere to it on those days.
Oh, and the picture is maybe a bit over edited (but quite nice as a thumbnail ^^). I had some fun with that app I use on my phone. So it didn't actually look that dangerous.
I hope I can hang out on Hive more often again, creating some structure in this unstructured life. I'm gonna have a lot of reading to do to catch up!

Yes, finally made it to Greece ^^
You live on Crete, right? I'm sure it would be a great place to visit, I'm sure it is even warmer over there than on the main land. It's not part of our plans right now, but who knows what happens.
I see a lot of olive picking around here, I'm sure you're busy with that too at the moment. I hope the harvest was good this year!

Yes, a little warmer and a little less rainy but Peloponnese is quite similar.
We done our olive's harvest in November. It was pretty good, thank you for asking.
Now we are planting a new herb's garden, a pretty big project that keeps us very busy!

Right now I'm not able to make art unfortunately, at least no digital art. Not enough power in the van for my old laptop. I do miss it though, looking forward to getting back into the crazy nft-world someday :)
