The great Atacama desert, a plateau located in Chile, covering approximately 128,000 km2 and considered the driest desert in the world, is characterized by not being a polar zone, which is unusual for extreme climates, it is made up of large rocky areas, salt flats, sand, and volcanoes. Its extreme climate is due to an inversion of temperature, product of the mixture of the cold current of the ocean coming from the Humboldt.
For me, being there was an incredible experience, seeing how the colors of the rocks mix, seeing how certain types of vegetation struggle to survive, feeling very hot during the day and freezing cold at night, seeing the starry sky has been a life experience that I would like to repeat because I still have a lot to know, these photos are a little of what can be seen in the most famous rock valleys of San Pedro, a little of the Rainbow Valley.
